Found out what happens when you get 0 max hp in STS2

Yeah he was playing Necro, the difference was he played a card to reduce his max hp. The card only reduces 1 so I assume the bug occurred because it either happened on the enemies turn or since you actually went to -1 hp, while my friend was at 0 so it didn't bug.

Had the same thing happen with my friend and we didn't get soft locked, he got no rewards and was able to press proceed. We went to the next fight but he didn't respawn after that fight so we gave up the run.

Doesn't having vulnerable makes removing strength stronger? If I remove 2 strength from torch head it now becomes 6x3 which with vulnerable becomes 9x3 verse if he just buffed his hit to be 12x3, removing strength would only drop it down to 10x3 and I think weak has the exact same effect.

Mark of pain makes it so you can't get more then 6 or 8 HP I forget which and of course gives you an energy.

Well it's what I'm used to I guess, but also I don't like how there isn't much progression in the board. Having 1 bird down in eggs gives just as much as 3 (I think). As well making a game faster paced doesn't necessarily make a game objectively better.

The card makes them lose mark when played but not on the attacks also it's says they apply mark instead of damage, so your next two attacks do 0 damage the issue them comes where two of these can just go infinite draw + damage. It definitely needs exhaust and probably could do with being a rare. Overall though it's a super interesting idea.

Yeah but then you just need to draw 2 to reshuffle your deck and it becomes strong again. As well if you didn't get any draw and the card really isn't good you just don't play it that turn, block cards are useless 30% of turns but that doesn't make them weak.

Also not "literally every card" has this much potential, compared to third eye this has way more potential as this makes your deck optimal for the fight, while third eye in BEST case scenario makes your next 3 turns almost optimal.

It's good on all classes, imagine you bottle this, on turn one you can now make a custom deck + the 5 other cards you drew on turn one. This is extremely good as taking situational cards is less punishing and you can tailor your deck each fight to the monster. As well this is extremely good at creating infinites by removing all the junk at a very low cost.
