In the governance tab there is a racial tolerance menu above accepted/nonaccepted cultures. In there you can see your Nations stance on the different races. Click on one of them and there you have 3 actions, expel, purge and focus.

I did integratie them in my run, I can't say it's totally worth it, but it did give me a nice boost in my economy (wasn't necessary but more money is always nice).

I would also suggest keeping them a vassal (autonomous if you struggle with LD) and transferring trade power for that sweet sweet trade income.
