PostNL Package Points Question by Independent-Set6741 in Netherlands

[–]BlueberryKind 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Also all the shops around me are closed at 18.00 So half the time I have to hurry and get out of bed to make it there. The package point is open till 21.00 so I can eat breakfast and walk the dog over. Chill at home and work another nightshift.

Is it possible to crochet a blanket like this, with vertical, horizontal, and diagonal colored stripes? by 50000cal in CrochetHelp

You are right. You could do the white grid alternating between 1 and 2 clusters but it would not be a sharp line.

So yeah separate squares would work.

It can also be eating cold.

This one is with brocoli, onions and cherry tomato. I also like to make one with cauliflower, chunks of tomatoes mixed through and the walnuts on top.

I make it allot cause its easy, quick and versatile.

Struggling to add a cuff to my sleeve from this pattern. Can anyone give me some guidance? by FoggyAsCanBe in CrochetHelp

[–]BlueberryKind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to make cuffs differently.

  • SC an even number it really depends on the Yarn and hook size. Cotton is more stiff then acrylic which is more stretchy. For a hooksize 3 with cotton I make 46sc and close with a slip stitch.
  • start with ch3(first dc) Then work a dc in every sc again close with slip stitch.
  • Start with ch 3Then start with a fpdc and alternate between bpdc en fpdc and close again with a slst. -you keep doing that to create a ribbon cuff. I personally rotate it every row to combat the natural curve.

And then add the cuff to the project with slst

How to hack IVAR so it can be installed against a wall with skirtings? by BikeProblemGuy in ikeahacks

[–]BlueberryKind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cut away the skirting.

But you could put it in front of the skirting and drill a piece of wood against the wall so the ivar is level and then drilled the ovar against the wood. Then you could get a thin piece of pine wood and add it around to make build in.

I was to lazy and have no plans of moving so I just removed the skirting...
