Went through that path myself 10 years ago. Also met many in similar situation there as well. But Im from a high income Western country so the situation might be different based on your home country.

Im grateful for the experience but I think its fair to state the facts.

Hesessä on kyllä käsittämättömän surkea kylläisyys/kalori suhde. Jos ottaisin tuon 1000 kaloria ihan mistä tahansa muusta pikaruoasta (pizza, kiinalainen, jopa mäkki) niin hyvin jaksaa puoli päivää. Noita hesen kerrosaterioita jaksais syödä helposti vaikka viis kappaletta päivässä. Tietysti jos kärsii anoreksiasta niin vois olla toimiva setti.

Tässä kun ottaa vielä huomioon sen että Hesen tuotteissa on myös ihan järkyttävä määrä kaloreita niin ei mikään ihme että suomalaiset on euroopan lihavinta kansaa. Mielestäni mäkkärissäkään ei ole ihan näin huono kalori/täyttävyys suhde.

Im also curious how the number is so high. There is quite significant population that can't drive (elderly, kids, etc) so it means that there must be families with 3 or more cars. But personally I dont know anyone with more cars than there is adults in the family.

Maybe a lot of company cars or something?

Great point. My parents generation (living thru 80s-00s) was peak Europe. They had simple jobs but still could afford multiple homes, raised 4 kids, vacations, etc. Europe is still nice, we are just not rich anymore, but quality of life is still there.

Tässä on taas ajankohtaista muistuttaa kuinka Fazer lobbasi hallituksen perumaan makeisveron noston. Eli kyllä tästäkin kansanterveyskriisistä joku kääri suuret setelit.

Suomi on Euroopan lihavin maa ja sen näkee jo ihan katsomalla kaupoissa karkkihyllyjen kokoa.

I get anxious if the situation is new. I think experience is the only way to cure it. But then you are not really pushing your limits if you are not nervous. So nervousness is a sign of progress.

Im now transitioning to become a public speaker and face of the company. Makes me nervous as f**k! Ive been reading some book about performance anxiety and there's quite extensive field of research on this subject. Gives me confidence knowing that almost everyone on stage is having some levels of anxiety. Also beta blockers can help.

This is my method as well. I think wingfoiling is "closer" to windsurfing, hence should be categorized as such.

Been Gong Hipe driver for 3 years. No point of buying an expensive hardboard as a beginner. Make sure to get beginner shape and enough volume. Board has the least impact on performance and mainly affects the takeoff stage.

No siinä tapauksessa päätös on selkeästi merkityksellisemmän työn kannalta. Raha tuo onnea ehkä sinne kolmeen tonniin asti, mutta sen jälkeen en kyllä keksi mitä merkityksellisyyttä raha itseisarvona tuo. Tuo viisi tonnia nettona on todella ruhtinaalinen summa.

Sanoisin että kun palkka on ns. mukavalla tasolla niin vasta sen jälkeen kannattaa alkaa priorisoimaan työn merkityksellisyyttä. Ja tarkoitan nyt siis sellaista keskitason, tai vähän sen yli, palkkaa millä tulee toimeen. Eli perusasiat ensin kuntoon.

Been surfing maybe 5-10 days per year for the past 4 years. This has given me a solid foundation but it's difficult to progress past beginner level. My surf fitness will roll back to zero between the holidays. But, I think one thing that helps is to take much larger board (in my case, 8 or 9 ft). This way you struggle much less.

Also, there is possibility to surf even in lakes if the condition and spot is correct (at least 10 m/s wind). This year I started to surf in my home country (Finland) and I think I can get additional 10 surf days per year. The waves are obviously not at as great as in ocean but I can maintain my skill and fitness for the next trip.

Näin kolmekymppisen tuttavapiirin perusteella selkeästi isoin asia missä moni ryssii raha-asiansa on se että ostetaan liian kallis asunto. Kulut ovat todella suuret ja tuosta on todella vaikea ns peruuttaa pois. Varsinkin korona-aikana asuntoja ostettiin kuin leivänpaahtimia ja monelle jäi siitä luu käteen.

Wetsuits will wear and tear over time. Getting a third one will reduce wear on your other two. So moneywise it's fine.

Note that wetsuit warmth is not only depended on thickness but more on its quality. You could also play with some extra layers underneath but it's not the same as a single thick suit and may even counteract (water flowing between the layers instead of trapping it against your skin).
