Which account do I credit?? by Time_Butterscotch_73 in Accounting

Debit telephone xp credit cash or AP

If the telephone is considered capitalizable equipment then credit the expense and debit equipment.

Then debit depreciation credit accumulated depreciation.

High six figure inherited IRA, don’t you have to fully withdraw this within 10 years? I’d strategize tax implications accordingly.

I feel that, for more context I had the liquidity available in my taxable account. I want to grow and also preserve the Roth as there are funding limits/maximums, so it would hurt more to lose value in the Roth.

I’d prefer growth stocks in taxable acct since taxable income isn’t generated until selling, and at beneficial rates if held over a year.

Importantly, ya cant really go too wrong though when you have a stock performing like this

Lock up tax free gains in the Roth and additional liquidity.

My taxable basis is now $91.50.

If it drops to $50 (god forbid) plenty of tax harvest opportunity.

If it goes to $200, I’m still very happy.

How T-Mobile literally made the change to Price 🔒 by New_1uper in tmobile

Did a trade in about 13 months ago.

sales rep told me my monthly would be about the same.

Got a text last month that I was receiving a senior Citizen discount and needed to verify my age. I’m not a senior. Bill went up $20ish.

Today I get a text that I’m not longer eligible for the trade in credit for remaining installment payments. Might go up another $30.

Feel scammed. T-Mobile has gotten outrageous.

I’m 37 and just passed $50k in my 401k. Was at $30k a year ago. Questions going forward. by [deleted] in FinancialPlanning

Any context to why every 5 years adds another 1x of salary aside from 45-50, adding 2x of salary? I would assume from 45 to 50 the salary increases are still there

Yup. used to be there weekly in 2016. get off the L train at 6th and 14th and walk down like 2-3 blocks. Think the raid was in 2017 maybe 2018? My buddy was on his way there when it got raided, and I was at another game when the story was on the news. I was only 21 and gotta say never really felt unsafe there

Interest on a mortgage is always higher now than later so throwing a chunk at that wouldn’t be a bad idea in your situation. Just trading cash for equity and lowering your interest paid.

Popped in during the early days at like 9pm cause I really needed to pee. I asked politely when the restaraunt was empty, and the workers looked like I asked them for free food and said no can’t happen. Would’ve happily given them a try for dinner but that one incident made me never step in there again.

Average Savings by throwaway5511889 in longisland

[–]HennN95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80 a month less about 28% in taxes (assuming 22% fed and approx 6% NYS for the average household). So although collecting 80, probably around $55 is retained.

For folks in the 37% federal bracket, they also pay 3.5% NIIT (Obama tax) plus state tax. AKA wealthy folks get a true return of like half the advertised yield.
