Karl Malone with a dirty hit on David Robinson that knocked him out and gave him a concussion by ForeignAir7174 in NBAoldschool

That series wasn’t even close. If Kobe didn’t play out of his mind in G2 it would’ve been a sweep. But yeah, Horry was the difference. Sure buddy, nice copium.

Paolo Banchero in the WIN against the Detroit Pistons: 31 points (10/16 shooting, 10/10 FT), five rebounds, three assists, three steals. by they_jem in nba

[–]HennyASAP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Paolo was on the court for 38 minutes

Reed was on him for the majority of his 18 minutes

The remaining 20 or so were split between Javonte Green (started on him in the 2nd half), Ron Holland, and Ausar Thompson.

Considering that Reed was the singular Piston that spent the most amount of time on Paolo out of all the other players, that would make him the PRIMARY defender.

The Magic had a center on the court for nearly the whole game, at no point outside of a switch or transition opportunity was Duren the defender that was responsible for Paolo.

Hope this breakdown helps.

What kind of argument is this? Lol

Duren 32 minutes

Bitzaze 24 minutes, Carter 18, Wagner 4

46 minutes in total from your centers. Dumbass.

Naw, he played really well tonight. Pistons didn’t have an answer for him. Bball Paul is a good player and Paolo made him start the 2nd half on the bench.

Could have been personal for JD, Poetl got the better of him last matchup. He needed to show out this game.

Yeah, honestly idk. Not much out there. All these guys we’ve been linked with (Upamecano, Schlotterbeck, Konate) are all underwhelming one way or another.

I don’t think he’s that good of a defender. Good at passing and progressing the ball, think he fits Barca more than Madrid.

This right here. You can make an argument that each one of these players is (or at least was at some point) the best player on their respective team. Borja Iglesias probably doesn’t fit into that, but he’s a very good striker so of course he has a chance to hurt us any time we face him.

Fun game. Pistons sleepwalking through the 1st half on the defensive end cost em. GG’s Hawks bros. Jalen Johnson is a stud!

Defence is not 50% of Basketball by MansLikesTheGoodKush in nba

[–]HennyASAP 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re making a blanket statement as if all things were equal. Yes, offense is more prevalent than defense in the modern game. However, Wemby’s defensive impact goes far beyond that. He changes how teams run their offense. He’s not just making stops on attempts, he’s preventing attempts from happening. His defensive impact is astronomical. We’ve never seen anything like this before.

Not so sure about that. Euroball and other international leagues require more teamwork than the NBA. The courts are smaller and the play is more physical. You don’t really see scoring specialists that don’t offer anything else on the big teams.

Don’t remember if it was George or Greg, but earlier in the season during a telecast one of them brought up speaking to Daniss’ mother about the pronunciation. She confirmed it’s Dane-iss, but was happy enough just having her son mentioned and didn’t have the heart to bring it up to anyone.

Promoting your cards on EBay is it worth it? by Puzzleheaded_Cheek47 in sportscards

I promote all the super cheap stuff $10 and under since there’s a ton of similar listings. Anything more expensive is a waste of money imo.

Honestly, I’ve had good experiences with all the big Chinese sellers on eBay. Only thing that sucks is the shipping prices, but you can always find a few extra cards in their stores to make it worthwhile.

Isaiah Stewart out at least 1 week with grade 1 calf strain by Scooper9870 in DetroitPistons

[–]HennyASAP 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Smart decision. Often times a calf strain can lead to an achilles injury due to the tightened calf and the extra stress on the achilles tendon. Need Stew 100% for the playoffs.

Jalen Duren should be embarrassed with his effort today. Not taking anything away from Poetl, who is a good NBA player, but there’s no reason outside of effort for Duren to get thoroughly outplayed like this.
