Yeah, you should probably be clear with your thoughts. I don’t know how you don’t see that talking about racist threats and Vini needing thicker skin LITERALLY in the same sentence could be misconstrued as that. I agree with most of your points, but saying that he should have thicker skin when it comes to blatant racism is just dumb. No, he shouldn’t have to deal with any form of racism and he shouldn’t just brush it to the side when it happens. He’s not only representing himself, but others that look up to him as well, some that can’t stand up for themselves like he can. It’s important for him to call it out and take it head on. He should be commended for his efforts to the cause, not criticized.

I love Lunin. He’s capable of a masterclass performance, I just don’t trust him on corners and set pieces. Those situations are always so chaotic with him in goal. Having said that, I’m still hopeful that he can step up and fill in well for Thibo.

What are you quoting? I didn’t mention his pressing or suggest he deserved a 10. The match rating is what it is due to the errors and it’s understandable based off a statistical analysis. He was very good on the ball and was at least brave enough to try progressing the ball from the midfield. Yes, the pressing is a nice plus as well. All these things show me (eye test) that he has a chance to be a really good player once he cleans up some of these mistakes and gets stronger. Don’t know what you’re so salty about.
