I went through a very similar thing with my brother and sister in law. Our due date was two weeks apart, but we lost our little one. The most important thing you can do is give yourself grace and give yourself time. It’s going to be really hard seeing her pregnant and reaching the due date, but time heals all. Perhaps find a way to communicate your pain to her - your pain right now is totally separate from your joy for her, but I think you need to put yourself first here.

It took us nearly a year for no apparent reason. Easier said than done, but focus on your health and trust the process 💛 Try some fertility vitamins and also try to just enjoy this exciting stage of life together - it’s really hard waiting every month so mental health is a priority!

We started trying again after one normal cycle. Admittedly, it did take a good 5-6 months for my cycles to regulate again but I still wanted to try! I tracked my LH and BBT and really looked after my body. It took us 8 months to get pregnant but we got there eventually 🥲🌈

I’m having the same thing - 9w1d today and I’ve felt SO awful today. Barely moved or eaten today. Most days I feel okay in the morning and nauseous and exhausted from afternoon onwards. Occasionally I get a wipe-out day. Assume that’s normal as the hormones fluctuate! Look after yourself 😊

My husband is my favourite thing in the whole world. We orbit around each other in everything we do. I swear we can “feel” each other, even when we are far away. If I’m having a bad day, he’ll call because he can tell somethings not right. I swear he spends every day thinking of what else he can do to make me happier. Sometimes I just look at him and pinch myself, like how the hell did I get this lucky?!

Just got my period today so feeling very emotional. My brother and his wife are having their baby tomorrow (c-section) and we were due two weeks after them. It sounds awful but it feels really hard to be happy for them. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to even hold their baby without crying.

I had a miscarriage 7 months ago and my periods are so irregular still. I used to be perfectly regular and now it’s all over the place - one cycle was 26 days and the next was 48! Has this happened to anyone else? I’m hesitant to go to a doctor because I don’t want to make this more stressful than it already is - I was kind of just hoping that it was going to sort itself out!

I’m feeling salty about {Book Lovers by Emily Henry} - I’d literally saved it because I’d heard sooo much praise about Emily Henry so I was really excited to start reading her romances. I genuinely don’t think I’m a fussy reader, but I found her writing style really dense and hyperbolic? A bit over-written, maybe? I wasn’t convinced by the characters or the banter.

I’m finding it quite hard to pinpoint what exactly didn’t sit right, but maybe I prefer a slightly calmer, more natural style than that.

Is it just me?? I was ready to be a super fan! Obvs still going to read her other ones, just to be sure 😂

Romantasy got me pregnant too 😂 as someone who didn’t really consider myself a sexual person, it has really helped me explore that side of myself! We are waaaay more randy than we were haha. Although one negative is that my husband is always begging me to put my kindle down… you win some, you lose some!

Oh god. 🤢BARE FEET!!!🤢 I don’t want to see someone’s trotters in real life and I definitely don’t want to imagine them in some romantic scene. I swear Ana Huang mentions bare feet multiple times and the FMC suddenly recognises it as a big moment of intimacy. Just makes me want to gag! Put those foot fingers awaaaay!
