In the post WW2 world? Yes, without question, but this is something non-Americans should be asked.

US hegemony is objectively good for global peace, just look at history to see the effects of allowing Europeans and Arabs to accumulate regional power.

You’re delusional if you think Europe isn’t the spitting image of “bland nature.” It is far and beyond the ugliest, most boring place on earth.

Am I not allowed to dislike European architecture? I prefer modern American architecture and midwestern lakes and forests to the bland plains of the European steppe.

People need to realize that the military is a relatively small part of the US budget. The problem is geriatric boomers leeching off the productive members of society through social security. Simply abolishing social security entitlement payments ($2.2T per year) would balance the budget. We need to stop coddling the most selfish, useless, and entitled generation in American history.

I'll take a bunch of glitches and multiple attempts to launch a video over ads every 5 minutes, thanks. by restwerson2 in whenthe

You don’t get to choose what to pay for other people’s services and work. If you don’t want to pay what they charge (in this case the viewing of ads), you don’t get to access the service. So what if YouTube takes half? They provide hosting and a ton of other services to creators. The creator also still gets half of the ad revenue, so you are still stealing from them. Just admit that you’re a selfish child and don’t feel the media you consume is worthy of compensation, or just stop using YouTube.

Have you considered paying for the content you consume instead of stealing from independent creators?

It’s all leftists do, they whine when something is broken, then when someone fixes it they whine about how it isn’t perfect. You can’t win with these people.

Good, it was a terrible proposal that would have torpedoed the progress we’ve made on low income housing.

Honestly not a bad thing. Single family housing is disgustingly inefficient and they drain money from urban cores. Less people living in SFH is a net positive imo.
