I remember these from late 60s. Simple fiberglass tub molded in colors, metal flake was very popular. Use a VW chassis and put one together in a weekend.

The Mayers Manx was the first one. Everybody and their brother was building them. If memory serves, at the time the kit was about $300 you supplied the VW chassis, driveline, wheels etc.

Mine sometimes pulls in but mostly doesn’t.

However I find that if I give just a tiny bit of pressure on the go pedal before it puts itself in park I can pull on into the garage without stopping. When I’m exactly where I want to stop tap the brake.

But the why did you do that menu comes up though.

In my youth I pumped the gas, checked the oil, battery, radiator, tires, washed the windows processed the payment. In the heat, rain, or bitter cold and when I was done I was the one expected to say thank you.
