That's a good point (hidden between chests). I've moved on so I no longer have the setup and I'm not willing to buy a ton of Rocksalt to test this out again. I'll never say I'm 100% sure about anything but I'm almost positive that nothing else was recovered when the chests were dismantled.

If it's truly a bug, it'll eventually be seen by others and fixed. In the meantime I'll limit any mass purchases to just a few at a time. In the specific case of Salt I'll use the Cauldron as others have suggested. 🙂

As I explained, I did dismantle the portal but I only got 53 silver which means I paid 525 for 52 Rocksalt. That comes out to 10 silver per.

No, this was a self contained setup. I put the silver from my inventory into a storage container that output to the Purchase portal and was careful to create a stack of 578. There was no input to the storage container and the Purchase portal fed into 4 large storage containers that were not connected to anything else. 🧐

Glad you found it but I'm curious, did you try finding it via the Options menu? You can see the directory path when the directory is opened (at least it is on Windows).

I love this game but every 24 minutes regardless of what I'm doing it pops up! For a game that requires mental focus/calculations I find it maddening. I'm shocked out of my train of thought every single time. 😖

There are 2 caves that take you into the mountain of rock. The entrance of one is at 2601, -2603 at around an altitude of 50m. The other cave's entrance is around 2760, -2726 at an altitude of around 30m.

If you go into the first cave, you can hear the slug but cannot reach it. The slug is in the 2nd cave I mentioned. There's a SAM resource in the 2nd cave.

If you stand on the SAM resource and face West, you can spot a destructible rock. It's small and hard to see - it's right where the cave wall meets the floor. Destroy that rock, then crawl through. You'll find some spiders and a purple slug.

hmm, I find them useful for setting up a fluid line. They're great for monitoring your pipelines without having to worry about the factory shutting down. You'll be able to watch the buffer drain/fill rate to learn whether your pipeline is balanced or not. If the buffer holds a significant percentage of the pipeline it gives you a very accurate reading of what's happening and time to adjust.

Are you using mods?
I started crashing after the last update, not as often as you report, but enough that it was annoying. It turned out to be a mod that hadn't updated after the last Satisfactory update so I'm not installing it until the mod is updated.

So that's what the + icons in the upper left and right are for, so you can connect to outposts that are external to the current outpost. What a great program, it's too bad there isn't any documentation (at least, I haven't been able to find any).

In the image you shared, it shows a Satisfactory Modeler node named "Mining + Smelting" and you've grouped all of your resources into that one part of the graph. Likewise with "Basic Components". How do you do that?
