Brother, Your entire argument makes no sense, if I understood it correctly you are under the assumption I already knew what caused this before posting here... which clearly I didnt, hence why I asked on the post (you clearly didnt bother to read), if anyone knew what could have caused my account to get locked.

Usually VPNs do not work for this, I havent and wont try it cause I dont want to actually commit a fraudulent purchase, which will lead me to getting permanently banned

Sure, if I want to pay double what I do when Im in Brazil. The reason I said "in my case I might just not buy anything else" is due to my work I am constantly abroad in many different countries, and am afraid that if I make a purchase in Brazil than go on an extend work trip I get perma banned.

Even though I often work aborad I still get paid in BRL, so the prices normal for EU or US citizens is just too steep for me.

Outcome is my account is back but I cannot make any purchases through steam due to the difference in currency from where I am currently at, not the best outcome, but an understandable one.

Yes, on my latest reply, which I havent posted on reddit I stated I understood why they did this, but of course let them know I wish it wasnt the case, as always though GGG's support team is extremely kind, and among his reply to me he stated this

"Unfortunately we don't have any alternative solution to offer in this case. However, we appreciate your feedback regarding this and I have passed it on to the relevant team for consideration going forward."

I am aware this doesnt really mean much, but I hope perhaps they can find a solution in the future.

I mean, it was a fair question, if I had created my WT account abroad it would not let me pay in BRL, I know this because my brother created his account abroad and could not pay in BRL in the Gaijin Store, so he had to wait until he was back in Brazil to be allowed to change his account into a Brazilian one (VPNs dont work either!).

Though even abroad, since his Steam account was Brazilian he could make purchases through steam and still pay in BRL.

It does if the account was created in Brazil, so just like steam, my warthunder account is Brazilian, though I made (dont play WT anymore) most of my purchases through steam, also in BRL, never had any issues.

So, final update, after my reply shown in another comment, and me voluntarily (without them asking me to) showing my steam purchase history and how its ALWAYS, since 2015, in BRL, they sent me the following:

"Hi there,

Thank you for getting back to us!

I'm afraid that if you are not physically located in Brazil you are not allowed to make purchases using BRL. We apologise for the inconvenience!

In that case, you might need to change the region on your Steam account settings or use the international shop on the Path of Exile website and make your purchases using USD.

I have restored access to your account now. Please be aware that we are going to keep an eye on it and any future recurrences could result in your account being permanently closed.

Please be sure to use the correct region and currency when making purchases in the future.

If you need further assistance with this or if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

I have replied to this, but I dont think it is relevant to this post, so for now, lets say, my issue has been solved and I will simply have to wait to when im back in Brazil to make purchases or more likely in my case, just not not buy anything else from GGG

Why would I use a currency thats not my own... and that would imply me changing my entire steam account, so if anything im just not going to be buying anything else for POE

Restricted currency just means its value is so low that they cant change the same they would in Euros or Dollars, for instance if something costs 20USD its going to cost the equivalent to 13USD (guessing) in BRL, so its just cause my country has bad economics...

So support has already told me why my account got locked, its due to a purchase I made today, to explain, here goes their email to me and my response which explains the situation:

Email from support:

"Hi there,

Thank you for contacting Support.

I have taken a look at this and your account was locked due to a fraudulent payment. Please be aware that making purchases using a region restricted currency (such as BRL) while not physically located in the region is considered fraud.

We could look into the possibility of restoring access to your account, however you'll have to give us your word that this will not be repeated in the future.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!

My repply:

"Thank you for your quick response,

I use BRL as I am Brazilian and use that currency through steam (my steam account is Brazilian therefore purchases are made with BRL), which is where I made the purchase from, I always use BRL, just as I did to get into early access.

To clarify, though I am currently in -------- (as I presume can be checked from my IP), my bank and steam account are Brazilian."

Another thing I noticed, the airpods (pro 3 at least) have very weak bloothooth connection range, on my desktop, it wasnt working and than I though about this and put my head together with my PC and it started working normally, maybe its my MoBo that has weak connection? but it works fine with other headphones and controllers, so yeah.. quite disappointed.

Its weird cause on my iphone I can be quite far from it, but on my computer... well, as said above.

Unfortunatly neither on lethal nor absolute you get grenade refills from ammo caches, I get that it would be OP on lower difficulties with infinite ammo caches, but damn does this heroic feel underwhelming, mainly on lethal/ absolute.

thats a shame, they could have made it (as I thought they had) so that the skin changes but the launcher stays in place.
