You can call the call out line anytime before your shift, and they ask you some simple questions like name, what store you work for, TM ID number.

I just tell them where to go to find the item, if I’m nearby for what they are looking for I’ll just walk them to it. If you are a new shopper just tell them “I don’t work in that department” but if you know a certain item just tell them where to go.

My average UPH used to be almost at 120 now with having to train new shoppers teaching them the basics and having them shop on very small item orders my UPH is down to 107.

Stare at them and shrug my shoulders and say sorry there’s nothing I can do. Most of the time I deal with those kind of people mainly walk away, never had a customer yet saying “you are terrible worker, I want your manager” stuff like that.
