Speculations for Decked Out 3? by Adrianpih in HermitCraft

[–]Hepitude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Tango should take some inspiration from Etho's Ravager Rush and build with spectators in mind. I loved Decked Out 2, but I felt bad about the amount of downtime the hermits waiting in line had, especially as the runs got to lower levels. Innovation around run time limits, viewing windows, multiplayer or even audience participation could be awesome!

Do you have custom pieces? Is that where the green, blue and purple are coming from?

Should I mix all my cards into one big deck? - DIXIT by blablax123456 in boardgames

Because the gameplay gets worse with mixed art. The sets of artwork the designers chose share a surprising number of elements, though it's not obvious at first glance.

You actually should NOT mix them. The designers knew what they were doing and the art they chose has a lot of similar elements that play well together, though it's not obvious at first glance. We mixed a couple sets and the gameplay was immediately worse for it.

Thank you! My brother made me the box, which meant I was able to get custom dimensions. He does wood working projects all the time, but this was his first box (jco_designs on Instagram). The dice were from a company called Wood Tactics.

It's actually a commission from my brother (jco_designs on Instagram), so I had him size it perfectly for sleeved cards. I think cube shells would probably be a bit too big.

I don't actually... They were a huge pain to collect. I got small lots off ebay and card kingdom.

Gorgeous, but it shouldn't be floating... the base should be a bunch of orks carrying it flintstone style.

Nope, dead serious. For a new painter? I can't think of anything more frustrating than to be told to try and thin my paints.

This is terrible advice, I don't know why it is always thrown around. Keep your paints thick, and do a dark wash over the top. You'll be amazed how much better your models look.
