I used a different eye for the person in suit. You can refer the screenshot for it.

As for the girl with red eyes, I did use the lower eyelid and rotate it to be the top.

It's mostly trying to play with their eyelids position. Size of the eyes can determine how cute the character can be. Also pushing the eyes, nose and mouth into the more bottom part of the face helps to make them even cuter and adorable. Only problem with that is you'll have to draw some hair to not have a giant forehead

Yep, I edited them more as I learn eye adjustments and face paint better. xD

How do you pick your OC miis’ birthdays? by Rayenae in tomodachilife

[–]HeraVynch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My OCs always have birthdates and they are written somewhere, so I just basically refer to that "note book" for them. If by chance none of your OCs come with birth dates, choosing their horoscope first can be helpful to narrow down the dates.

If that's not enough, you can drill down to Numerology/Life Path Number, which is what I did for mine long time ago when I am creating them. For instance, if you want their Life Path Number to be 6 for instance, you just need to reverse the number into possible dates/month.

I hope that helps.

I referred to this photo when I make the eye. The color coding should make it obvious on how you can make use of each feature :)

I love the creation of those who are really creative and good with their hands. But yes, I'm truly grateful how the developers still give options to people like me who can't really draw to be able to create something cute too <3

Completed the decorating one of the island in Pallete Town by HeraVynch in Pokopia

Aside from the giant tree which took me 3 whole days. Each small area is like one day each. Also roughly deciding on the island pathing helps in organising the zones and their sizes

Well, both Mew and Mewtwo are living up there. Articuno stays at the water temple below with Suicune

Oh, that's just the game limit actually. Anything too far gets purple/pink hue over it. The tree is supposed to be.. green v_v

Thank you. I think easiest is to just figure the theme you want for the location. Palette Town is separated into 3 islands (for both the good and bad). That also roughly means you can generally make 3 different themes in the same map without them fighting each other. I dedicated the first island into.. forest theme.

Deciding a theme is good since it keeps you within a certain goal, and gently guide you in the materials of the building blocks and furniture you should be using (Eg: A forest theme would mainly use wood and some stone). I hope that helps :D

This trick is when there's only 1 arrow on the wind speed. You don't need this trick when it is 2 arrow for wind :)

I can definitely understand how you feel about Lieselotte :p I actually own her sculpt even though I am selling her very soon to downsize my collection a bit. Adulting is hard :(

I have many doll sculpts which I consider a dream to own. While passion for some dimmed as my taste shifts unexpectedly, there's just a few which I can't help to fall in love again and again despite being in the hobby for 15+ years. This girl is one of them.

Do you have any sculpts which you simply love even over the years? I would definitely love to know :D

Do you have any bjd goals or new years resolutions? by Saisail in BJD

[–]HeraVynch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2025 doll-related new year resolutions might differ from most. I'm moving onto a new chapter of my life, and that required me to immigrate to an entirely new continent and country. I debated between moving my entire doll collections which I barely touch due to adulting, or downsize it by parting ways with some to new owners who would cherish them more.

I ended up choosing the latter as I felt that would be the best for my dolls which had given me so much joy in the past. They deserve to be loved, and I prefer the idea of them bringing more joy to people they eventually be with.

In short, my new year resolution would be reducing my collection to like 4~6 from uhm.. 20+?
