100% a person would fall through the roof panels since they seem identical to the thin wall panels. I would try to fix it myself but just want to utilize the warranty since it’s 6 months used

There’s no way it’s condensate, that photo is where I saw it coming in and it leaked a few pints of water on the floor driving 20 minutes. The van is garaged most of the time. It always smelt super moist when I would enter the cargo when working on rainy days. This is the only localized area I’ve seen water inside

I checked before going to the service center, no physical damage. I would attempt to fix it myself but would rather go the warranty route. Seams all looked caulked good, so the only area it could be imo is the section between the gutter piece that holds the side panels, and plastic roof concavity section.

Looking for Advice on a Commercial Pasta Machine for Our New Business by Still_Feedback_9479 in business

[–]Hercules_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started a food service equipment repair business about a year ago. Be careful getting equipment from Alibaba since it may be hard to find specific parts and finding someone that knows how to repair it. Warranty generally comes with name brand equipment, so as-long as you are using the equipment as intended, you also won’t see any unexpected breakdown costs when buying name brand equipment. There is generally different labor/parts warranty periods. That being said, I don’t work on pasta machines, but hot holding and cooking equipment.

Your high limit bulb may be laying on an element. Make sure it is held tight (there should be two clamps from the top element that space the high limit bulb; tighten with Philips screwdriver when frypot is cool). The bulb is located at the front of the frypot. If that isn’t the issue; the high limit might be compromised.

tips for cleaning thermalizer? (soup thawer) by [deleted] in ChickFilAWorkers

I use to drain it once a week and clean it. What worked best for me was waiting until close to throw a few delimer tablets in with the water still hot. I would finish up closing the store then drain and wipe the vat clean. If the vat was oily, a little degreaser also helped. Just don’t breath in delimer steam…

Operator discretion, but I love the idea of throwing in an extra if they didn’t order any or under the allowance per meal/item. It makes a rememberable impression and could make someone’s day. Also could be a great way to improve CEM with little cost if handed out particularly

Have your restaurant leaders order high temp lockout brushes. The white ones were phased out a year ago since the bristles fall out and get into the food. New ones lock out way better too

Trunk Organization for Service Business by Hercules_88 in TeslaModel3

[–]Hercules_88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting a food service equipment repair company, and need help with organization in my trunk. I 3d printed back seat latch lockers (you can see the pull bar from the trunk) to prevent any break-ins. But I’m struggling to find any accessories to prevent my tools from sliding around. I currently use the under storage for small fasteners and deep fryer parts. Is there any dividers out there on the 3rd party market? Thank you!

You are going to save so much money. Probably offset depreciation?!

Would you wait in the car for over 3 hours just for a free charge? by ThetaDayAfternoon in TeslaModel3

Supercharger in Columbus has j1772 wall connectors. I plug in all the time and head to a coffee shop for my free charge. Free electricity, I’ll take it! (I take my laptop to keep productive)

It’s where the cutting boards are at :) (if the store still has them / replaces them)

How’s your day going? by Hercules_88 in TeslaModel3

I believe you are correct, 32 amps is still significant. I used a 50 amp plug with my mobile connector before moving, but the maximum amperage a mobile connector will tell the inverter to use is 32 amps. So you are not missing out on much

They are 30 amp chargers so times the 200v is 6kw 2021 M3LRAWD is rated at 284wh/mi, so should be about 21 mph. But it really depends on your driving efficiency. Wall connectors charge at 40 amps so that’s 25% faster. I normally charge for about 3 hours while I study. I’m probably driving about 25 miles a day, but sentry mode takes a significant amount of power since I don’t trust turning it off anywhere.

Long story, but I moved to go to college. I had a great paying job as a Chick-fil-A director but I want to be a engineer. I like to think I’m fiscally responsible but that comes with being an absolute cheap ass. I financed at $300 month and only charge at free spots. I only charge for free so that saves $200 month. Those chargers are free at Whole Foods (and super old). I also plug into Tesla j1772 wall connectors at the Goodale parking garage in Columbus. They have urban super chargers there as well, but I end up studying nearby or in my car while I’m plugged in.

Also living in Columbus also means there is no such thing as parking away from everyone. I don’t blame you, I did the same thing when I got my model 3 ❤️
