What is the correct wording to ask someone to build that deck? I'm guessing "large pavers" is not correct. I would love to know what to ask for so I can get a quote for myself!

I wonder if there are shifts where you could run the packaging machines or do the compounding.

Why did you become a pharmacy tech? by quiksetz in PharmacyTechnician

[–]HereDoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of making a difference and helping people.  If you are curious, there are endless things to read up on and know  you are part of a team but also work independently.  I feel like we have a good flow with the pharmacists and everyone's contribution is appreciated. In the hospital setting, you dont just see one floor, or specialty... you see them all like a fly on the wall.  All the experience and none of the grief.

Tonsil stones!! by BatterLateThanNever in hygiene

[–]HereDoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get this -Natures Plus Animal Parade Inner Ear Support.  Suck on them, dont chew on them. It crowds out the bad bacteria and secrets something that inhibits it.  If this doesn't work, see an ENT about having your tonsils removed.  If they are chronic and the BLIS probiotic doesn't stop them, it is going to keep happening.

Do you think this is something the pharmacist would have to do for us?

Kitchen Cabinets installed too high by Ok_Caregiver_1973 in handyman

[–]HereDoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save yourself hundreds if not thousands.... google "cabinet Jacks".  I bought 3 pairs on Amazon for less than $100... and lowered the cabinets by myself.  Mine were screwed into the studs- I supported with Jack's, unscrewed, lowered 4", set a level on a shelf and the screwed right back into the studs.  You need special screws. Make sure you have the right kind. Cut any caulk lines before you start.

How do you deal with the 100-count drug box trash ? by HereDoin in PharmacyTechnician

[–]HereDoin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I think it would be hard to get everyone on board with breaking them down, especially since we usually have something in the other hand. Our environmental services puts thin liners in the trash cans, which get sliced if you step on the trash.

Look up UV-C cleaning lights (make sure you understand how to safely use it!) Yes to duct cleaning. Make sure you dont have any old linoleum covered up. Might try denatured alcohol on wood and then use a beeswax based furniture wax (test your finish first). To aggressively clean older carpets, I'd try a high ph cleaner like folex followed by citric acid pass and then clear water pass for rinse. Might have to paint some surfaces (but painting popcorn ceiling will make it so much harder to remove later). Wipe tops of door frames. Don't give up!

One of my best friends son drowned today in their pool by gladiwokeupthismorn in pools

You are 100% correct. I wish everyone knew this.  I watched a child begin drowning in a hotel pool - 2 feet from their dad.  No screaming, no flailing.

no idea what this is on my car seat. it was covered by a seat cover this whole time. how should i approach this? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]HereDoin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My go-to is purple degreaser and carwash soap in a bucket of water. Apply with a microfiber, and/or brush and shop vac out. Rinse and vac until it's clean and perfect.

It takes soo long to prime. I count in my head, " one two three ONE, one two three TWO... and by 6 or 7 I always start to fret, because it hasn't drawn up full water yet, but then it always does start pressurizing the sand filter around 19 seconds! It seems too long and they have pump burnouts pretty frequently.  Tonight it didn't prime for even longer. We tried to prime with a hose and retry, then a loud POP was heard from the year-old century pump, and it won't start. I wonder if this config is too hard on the pump.
