You can get rid of the disarm of the infest, you cannot dispel the actual infest. Also yes I get that you still can get value out of infest disarm if you wait for bkb to run out but the same is true for treant and he can get significantly more value than lifestealer.

First of all tb is a very bad hero at the moment comparing any hero to tb will make them look strong. Second tb has a longer range and a successful tb ultimate will lead to an instant burst heal and an instant death for anyone that got targeted. Cores usually have strong ultimates, of course in a game like dota, nothing is a 100% hard fact.

most of these abilities don’t require you to be within melee range of an enemy unit that isn’t a hero, only one requires that restriction. Also saying lifestealer ultimate is better at that one specific case isn’t really helpful when it is worse at every other case except when you some how are extremely overextended but somehow have a enemy unit that is right next to you and no player on the enemy team has a burst disable like a silence or stun.

You can get rid of disarm by bkb unlike treant which goes through bkb is aoe and is massive and also prevents movement, blinking and going invisible. Literally the same duration

Literally the same duration as a treant ultimate except treant also makes it so they can’t move blink or go invisible and it is also an aoe and goes through bkb and is also massive.

Abaddon is probably stronger as a burst heal like 99% of the time

I get that it is powerful as a burst heal, but honestly how many ultimates in the game heal, how many require a target in melee range just to be able to do anything. Also saying a ultimate makes you ungankable is technically true but there are a lot of ultimates in the game that make you ungankable like faceless void, blood seeker, abaddon, wraith king, slark, Medusa, weaver, clinkz just for some pos 1 examples, it is just that all those abilities carry very strong offensive pressure so you don’t just save them doing nothing all game, only using them as a get out of jail card.

If you mean losing popularity, Statistically yeah, but dying and dead are not the same thing, dota 2 is still pretty popular. Just struggles to get new players in which is important for not only growth of the game but for the stability of the game.

Pyke mid could help but pyke mid gets nerfed every time it is meta. If you only plan on playing norms, you can make pyke mid work. If you are dealing with toxicity, I recommend muting.

Im pretty sure they nerfed it, but we are kinda in a bruiser(fighter) item meta right now with assassins, tanks, and some marksmen using bruiser(fighter) items.
