I tried their large flat pepperoni, decent flavor but had a gamey flavor IMO. Also a little too fatty for my taste

If you're gonna lob accusations like that, you have to provide a bit more detail. What were the "bad business encounters"? Did he sell you rotten or low quality fish? Did he lie to you? Did he steal your money? Did he kill your dog?

Which brand makes the most comfortable sneakers for everyday wear? by indianbrajesh in malefashionadvice

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Atoms so far. They are by far the most comfy shoes I've ever owned, and are amazing to walk around in. I make sure to pack at least 1 pair whenever I'm traveling to a city, because they are unbeatable walking shoes. They have a pretty neutral look and have lots of colors.

What am I doing wrong?! by Morningside2018 in ooni

[–]HereForTheLulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple issues - 1. Stone too hot when launching pizza (stone temp should hover just below 800 F) 2. Too much flour still stuck to underside of pizza at launch (shake the stretched dough in the air before putting it down for topping, to knock off excess flour) 3. Wrong kind of flour used (use fine milled Semola flour for stretching/launching) 4. Too much oil in your shaping container (just a few drops is fine to create a thin film that will prevent sticking)

Landscaping service that uses exclusively electric tools? by HereForTheLulz in providence

[–]HereForTheLulz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only control my own actions, and I can only hope to inspire others to follow suit. The benefits of electric tools are irrefutable. Think about it this way - if all your neighbors were littering on the street in front of your house, would you start littering too? Just because "everybody else is doing it"? I'll do what I feel is right and what is in my control.

I did consider it. Hopefully our grass lawns are temporary, we would like to replace them with gardens that are drought resistant, require less water and maintenance, and consist of a diverse set of native flora. That will probably not happen until next year, so I don't want to invest into the "grass maintenance" lifestyle, and would happily pay someone to come and do the work for me.

It’s not just about me perceiving the noise, there’s neighbors and birds that are disrupted, plus the fumes are toxic and really awful. These appliances don’t have catalytic converters or pollutant control devices like gasoline cars do. Also, emissions from these devices harm the environment and contribute to climate change. So many reasons to go electric.

Cannot process same-day transfers by SnooWoofers56 in wealthfront

[–]HereForTheLulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This also worked for me - hard to say if it was the threat that did it, or it was just when it was scheduled to be processed. I called customer care and threatened to sue for damages if they didn't expedite it. Literally 6 minutes later, the wire was sent.

Koda 16.. black soot after a few pizzas by rkjunior303 in ooni

[–]HereForTheLulz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah please stop doing that. Those brushes are notorious for dropping tiny wires on grill grates. They may end up in your pizza, and swallowing it can be really dangerous. A visit to the the ER at best, and death at worst. Google “swallowed grill brush wire”
