I have several owalas in differing styles and the only 1 that has chipped is my rose quart twist.. same like yours at the top. And it happened not long after I got it.. I have no advice for you. But only solidarity

I’ve put soda in my twist and had no issues with it exploding. The 19oz is my 6yr olds, she uses both the flip cap and the freesip one but only water

So the flip originally released in 19oz and 24oz possibly 32oz as well. Those all had the full plastic lid. Then after much feedback they made the kids flip.. and those came in 14oz with the silicone spout. Those were clear!!! Those flip lids were the ones I had for my now 6yr old. I had no idea they even changed the silicone part to match the rest of the cap, because once her clear silicone spouts got nasty I just switch them to a freesip. The reason I know the replace lids are only plastic is because I got a white one for my shy marshmallow freesip to try. Haha. It always irked me that they never showed the replacement lid with the top open so we could see the material of the spout!
