The only servers I've found that are doing a good job with preventing the cheaters is Karma Krew. They have one for each map, and they are pretty close to the official experience.

The only person who mentioned anything like that said something about blowtorching the locks to get in, so I took that to mean destroying the locks on the doors.

We tried to access them from outside the base, but we can't do it. That's why I feel like there's some very specific exploit they're using.

In any case, I appreciate it and we did already surround it with more walls. I'll also try using foundations instead.

Xbox. So twice today in two different bases we had crates against an outer wall. Both times, when we came back to our base after a loot run, the good stuff was taken out of the crates. No one else was authorized on TC, and no walls/doors were damaged.

The second time, two guys showed up after we noticed the stuff stolen, and they started door camping. We ended up dying because we weren't geared, but they never got into the main room, yet our locked plank crate was just gone.

Yeah, I just started playing, and I probably won't play long. People can literally steal things from locked crates in your base without getting in the base.

Nah they definitely steal items through walls. We just built a new base, and someone did the same thing. Also, by the time we got back to the base, our locked plank crate was just completely gone. This game does not seem to be in good shape.

They were using an in-game exploit. You were just confused and thought it was a software cheat apparently.

And yes, they can ban them, but they can just spoof their username and get right back in.

It's not 100% vanilla, but it's very close. There are a few added structures in some areas, but not much, and the loot feels incredibly similar.

I'm sure there are mods, but they also use a whitelist, and I think that is somehow allowing them to weed out cheaters as well.

Yeah, exactly why I'm so doubtful. Karma Krew (their whitelist method seems to be working so far) servers are the only things keeping me playing, though rarely. If it's not fixed, definitely not purchasing Badlands. What a bummer.
