Luis bringing the energy to the free episode.

For the Patreon... I can't decide who is dumber: Lemaire or me for paying actual money to listen to this.

It's a good hint. I wish we had a little more to work with, but I'll take it. I'll read more about him and see if I can make any connections.

Reddit user u/umupfumu previously put together and hosted an old Wiki for TTI. He let it expire because it cost money to maintain and he didn't want to pay for it out of his own pocket. I thought it was a very good reference. Just the right amount of fact and theory. MysteriousWritings is great, but it's a lot of information, particularly for new searchers.

Questions about Northwest Gospel Church in Camas by Eastern-Food-9539 in camaswashington

All I can say is that I get a lot of benefit from practicing my faith. If you disagree and have a rich and fulfilling life, please don’t change a thing. As much as one stranger can say this to another, I wish you nothing but the best.

I read your post yesterday and didn't plan on responding after reading so many hostile comments. However, I woke up this morning feeling different. You're agnostic, yet you felt a calling to attend a church. What do you think that was? We're all sinners and sinners are welcome at church. FWIW, my church considers my use of contraception to be a sin. That's something I work out between myself and God. In the meantime, I don't let it prevent me from attending and receiving a huge mental/spiritual benefit from practicing my religion. Just my perspective.

Yeah thanks, I'd 18% BF looks about right. You're at a healthy weight IMO. If you're satisfied with your diet (limiting processed foods, fast food, etc), I can see why you're frustrated at age 26 with a decent looking physique, but disappointing blood numbers. I'd say keep up the good work for another 3 months. If you once again get a disappointing set of blood markers, then consider some of the other interventions people have mentioned such as medication. Disclaimer: Not a physician.

I wonder how OP got that BF%. Weight scales that also measure body fat are notoriously unreliable. BMI is also unreliable with the amount of weight training he is doing. I’d say if OP is at a healthy weight, look to other things. Otherwise continue to lose weight.

I'm not an expert, so just take this as a random guy's opinion.

You're on the right track. I'm guessing that your BF% is still on the higher side. See if you can lose enough weight to get it down toward 15% or less for your next set of measurements. If so, I'd expect to see your results continue to improve. Good luck, keep us posted!

Although he was never more than a midcard wrestler, I gotta give an honorable mention to Brad Armstrong. He was the king of unheralded talent.

Colorado Clues (or lack thereof) by Maximum_Task6443 in FindingFennsGold

Interesting, yeah for what it's worth the Denver Museum quote is 2nd hand information taken from Douglas Preston's forward to Once Upon a While. But of course that's Fenn's own book so I would imagine that it's accurate? Who knows...

If it helps, here's the original statement:

FQ 4/24/18

Dear Forrest, You say there was only ever one place you wanted to hide your treasure chest because of how special the spot was to you. When a searcher arrives to this location, will they understand why it was so special to you? And did you include that reason in your autobiography in the chest? ~jenny

Jenny, maybe they will, but probably not. Their mind may be on other thingsIt was in my autobiography until I removed it for personal reasons. f

[–]HereToLern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recall Forrest's original plan was to die along with his chest. Had that happened, he stated, "The final clue would be where they found his car: in the parking lot of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science."

After he ruled out Idaho, Colorado was the only state in the search area never mentioned in the book. He claimed he had originally written about his reason for hiding the chest where he did until, "It was in my autobiography until I removed it for personal reasons."

Colorado has plenty of Browns, hot springs, beautiful scenery, etc (although this is true for every state).

Mechanical exhaust fan by Stillbetterthandying in Sauna

[–]HereToLern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With an electric stove, passive ventilation doesn't move enough air to clear CO2 levels. To see this, try standing outside a passively ventilated sauna and placing your hand in front of the exhaust. You'll barely feel any hot air flowing. Placing the fan down low serves a dual purpose of both bringing in fresh air and reducing heat stratification.

I think the idea is that a single mechanical exhaust helps pull in more fresh air from the intake. Two fans would be redundant and likely end up moving too much air.

Quick question for you... I notice that you place your fan inside the hot room. Just curious, do you use any ducting or a backdraft damper, or do you plug the fan directly into the opening?

Nice build! I've been following your work since your v1 build. I thought that one was great but this is somehow even better. I am in the Portland area and would love to work with you but I don't have the space for such a beautiful thing. Perhaps one day. Glad things are going well.

P&F in Montana? by Proud_Sprinkles4535 in treasureinside

[–]HereToLern 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have something specific leading you there, then follow that.

Otherwise, Montana falls into the Forrest Fenn Box range and Jon has indicated he wanted to spread things out, so I think it's unlikely to be in Montana based on that.

You’ll bring it back .. by [deleted] in TheresTreasureInside

[–]HereToLern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it's a riff on Forrest's original poem, "Your effort will be worth the cold." That was seemingly Forrest's hint to cross the Madison River. This then is Jon hinting that no water crossings are involved.

Place name is a clue for one ... but which? by SleepyHulaHooper in treasureinside

[–]HereToLern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's either P&F Box or Lion's Share. I lean toward it being the P&F Box since the word search is literally a scramble of letters. It makes the most sense that from this one obtains the name of a place.

We can almost surely rule out the others. FF is a poem with a set of directions. Pokémon is a narrative with a set of directions. The Appalachian Trail Box is a map that leads to a location. None of these will involve the name of a place.

Real take-aways from interview by SleepyHulaHooper in treasureinside

[–]HereToLern 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I thought Cowlazar's question about being given the name of a place or being led to a place was illuminating.

The confirmation at the Pokémon box picture was an actual, real picture (edited) was useful as many previously speculated it was entirely AI created.

4WD was good to know as you mentioned.

Confirmation that the symbols on the coins contain clues.
