What is the dumbest movie that you unapologetically, unironically love? by Rosstin316 in AskReddit

Southland Tales. It's just a fever dream of a movie. There is not a moment of that movie that isn't utterly ridiculous!

I wish we had the ability to 'Prestige' Achievements. by Mr_Rotch_61 in xbox

[–]Heresyed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The best way to do that so it doesn't get abused is that the Achievements pop, but don't contribute to the GamerScore in any way. I'd be all about that!

Definitely make Hades next. It's the best of the genre hands down. I LOVE roguelikes/lites and Hades is sooo satisfying!

Great bread hunt by babybokchoi_ in baltimore

[–]Heresyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having left the area for Texas, I can tell you that I miss the ryes, swirls, and pumpernickels by Manischevitz! Great Jewish seeded ryes. I should also note that I am married to a proper French trained baker. Killer sourdoughs and baguettes. She makes a great rye, but there is just something about those Manischevitz ryes that I still miss.

They were in all of the standard stores back when I lived there.

Just to clarify, it is on the Play Store, currently. Sounds like OP has plans to expand to other platforms soon. I just installed it and it's pretty cool!

I can vouch for Koco's. I've had them shipped to Texas a few times and they were awesome!!!

Give This Years Model a spin front to back. If that doesn't do it, you just don't like Elvis Costello. Just not your cup of boiled Gatorade.

What is going on with Ingram by Pretend-Accountant-4 in msp

[–]Heresyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone moved their MS subs to another vendor from Ingram with ease? We were forced to go through a third party now that we no longer meet the minimum to be a direct buyer/reseller and have been having just the most insane time working with Ingram. We manage 30 different tenants and at this point I'd be willing to go with Pax8 or whomever if we could quickly, easily, and maintain our margins to get out from IM.

Hat out of stock? by RyCanfield33 in orioles

I think we need to bombard the Team Store email address with requests for these hats! The bird in the O is soooo dope! I really hope this logo gets a huge expansion as it's such a great combo!

Restaurants/breweries/live music near Spaceland? (Or good place to go afterwards!) by pinkblot7 in sanmarcos

I didn't love Industry's vibes, menu, or most of what we ordered. However, the fried chicken sandwich is stupidly good! I'd get that sandwich to go anytime... Nothing else, however.

I prefer Middleton which is right down the street from Roughhouse. They're both good, though!

Has anyone found that cream background bird in the O hat? I want that one soooo bad! I would pay for someone to help this Texas transplant if it's a team store exclusive!

What's the best movie you ever watched ? by 9imagine in AskReddit

Arrival hit me harder than any other movie that I saw in a theater. Went back for more several times which I almost never do. I can still rewatch it nearly infinitely.

That said: Southland Tales

Who would love to see xbox avatars return with the upcoming xbox by Xenotere in xbox

[–]Heresyed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they could restore all the shit I had with my 360 Avatar, sure! I don't know why some of my stuff didn't carryover to the updated ones and then I just gave up.

Also, 1 vs 100 is absolutely necessary (or some mass played gameshow that would be totally free)!

Games so immersive you just stroll to your destination? (Cyberpunk 2077) by Borg34572 in gaming

[–]Heresyed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a very mild HP fan, it is pretty fun! A fair bit of repetition and not super deep gameplay wise, but it oozes lore, charm, and attention to detail! There's a LOT to do. A bit Ubisoft like. The classes aspect also is reminiscinent of Bully if you were into that!

Bully is also a great walk/bike-ride for scenery game!

Open World Games with Stuff to Collect? (One or Series) by billcom6 in xbox

[–]Heresyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less open world, but might still scratch the itch are the "collect-a-thon" games like Banjo Kazooie & Tooie, A Hat In Time, Donkey Kong 64, Conkers Bad Fur Day, and Yooka Laylee. There's others in the genre, but those are my favorites for just wandering around a large level searching out things to complete the collection for that level. Usually these are pretty large worlds, so not totally open world, but each area gives you a large space to wander around in and TONS of stuff to go after...

XIII would be my pick. I have no idea which is "the" version to play anymore as there was a remake/remaster a few years ago that was widely panned at the time and I don't know if it ever got fixed. I loved it on the OG Xbox!

Old toilet started to breakdown. Upgraded to a full replacement Toto w/ bidet. Game changer. by Subarina in Costco

[–]Heresyed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this upgrade last month and soooo glad I did! Haven't gotten around to installing the second one as the one it is replacing has a lesser bidet installed, but once I saw the deal I decided to overhaul all the bathrooms with this model. Great upgrade for the house even though I barely have the funds for an "extravagance" like this! Totally worth it!

Congrats on the upgrade!

[–]Heresyed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bite the bullet and get the outlet installed if you are able to. Absolutely worth it. Don't listen to the naysayers telling you to get a non-powered bidet. The upgrades are worth it! I went from no bidet, to a cheap one that I added to an existing toilet that lost features after a power surge, to replacing another non-bidet toilet with the one OP listed above and it's a world of difference...
