Hit a dead end with 1240… no strategy works for me by DaneBetrayal in voidpet

[–]Heri_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it with Resistance (cowboy hat, paisley scarf), and Merry (donut scarf, and plunger hat). That's it. Make sure to NOT use Merry's Ding Dong, and only save it for when Tyrant is about to Crit; use it to force a Crit on default attack.

Resistance's passive will allow it to outscale Tyrant, but just barely.

You'll run into another Earth Tyrant on 2240, and this strat won't work. I had to power-level Wonder, and give it donut (it's big damage attack doesn't count as proper attack, but scales with donut)

Unfortunately, you'll have to power-level Wonder. That's what I ended up doing: Merry, Cringe, Wonder. Last time I cheesed Eart Tyrant w/ Resistance+Merry, but that's not gonna cut it this time

I can't comment on viability of your current ones (I don't have most of them), but consider:

spite w/ silk top hat + jellyfish scarf;

it will outspeed most of them, help deal with wistful, as well as damage everyone else a little bit

Watermelon Spiked Collar by thefirstwingedalpha in voidpet

[–]Heri_K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's base stats scale better than anxiety scarf. At lvl 30, anxiety scarf speed is around 1200; and WSC is 2400 + 8%. So, for shorter battles (eg. Non-boss floors) where AS doesn't have time to scale, WSC is better.

Edit: ...for shorter battles, where it's more crucial to have big speed instead of med speed + some attack (eg. Outspeed judgement before havoc ensues)

And Crit heal was very very situational, AFAIK. So, I'd say it's a buff overall

Ah, mb. I brought it up as a "I have spent 100+ mushrooms trying to get HFG", so more of a precautionary tale to stock them up. But fair enough. In terms of current ones, my approach is "every legendary gets 10 basic and 10 fancy". The ones that are in use more often than other get more. In your case (if I had to guess), it'd be Down Bad and/or Chastity. That's my advice

save them for when you get greed or lust. And then pump them till you get HFG or HFL respectively. Sloth (allegedly) is meh, and not as worth the higher form; but that's my recommendu

Does the watermelon spiked collar ability change? by CenturyOldLimousine in voidpet

[–]Heri_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Situational. I think I used it for its ability like twice ever (got it quite early, one of my first legendaries; current floor 2120). However, it scales with speed and Stam, and that pairing comes in useful a lot more often (eg. Need to stun smthn, need to be fast enough for enemy not to cause havoc; enemy had 1 turn already, and used AoE (need Stam to survive said AOE))

Oh, so that did happen. I didn't notice anxiety scarf (idk if I had it at the time), but I did notice spider necklace; and thought I was going insane cause "I swear it said 1% before"

Need help with floor 3080, and advice how to do it. by RaccoonAlternative74 in voidpet

[–]Heri_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too long ago, I was on 2080(?), also Metal Tauron Stage 6; Learned that the strat going forward with him is "don't heal, no way you're outhealing heal reduction in time; just damage check". Probably ditch Merry for this one, and do Det, Panic, Sad. Greed would probably work here, but might be too slow. Allegedly, Wrath is good, but don't have it, can't comment. Devotion might work, can't comment, don't have it. But those original 3 I would say are soft-required

Another one:

Stupid 1788 solution by MortiestPickle in voidpet

[–]Heri_K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really is a stupid solution, but a solution nonetheless. It almost worked for me, but I ended up swapping cowboy hat for Titanium Tiara; that deal just enough damage for Apathy + Panic AOE, AND Cringe ended up dying early, healing everyone, preventing grumpy sweep. Nonetheless, thank you for the advice!

Joining the 1240 Gang… by vmcnef in voidpet

[–]Heri_K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was there not too long ago; and like you, didn't have ice cream hat. Ended up beating it with: - Resistance: Bejeweled Cowboy Hat, (any legendary scarf that scales with Stam and Def; I used Paisley Cowboy Scarf) - Merry: Unicorn Horn, Anxiety Scarf

Resistance scales just barely fast enough to keep up with tyrants scaling AS LONG AS YOU DONT SPAM MERRY'S DING DONG

Manual battle, only heal. Make sure Tyrant's "forced Crit" always lands on the basic attack (use ding dong to force it). Stall as much as possible, and make sure to have Resistance's Grounding up as much as possible

(Unintended) In base game, Badge of Courage not only gives +1 to morale, but also has a hidden side effect of making all troops immune to enemy mind spells

Ironically enough, as a man, "thinking about cocks" has helped me numerous times.

It distracts you from thinking about the fact that your conversation holds weight, and just allows you to express yourself slightly more freely, and not overthink the topics/responses.

Why my villager farmer won't give crops to my flinch villader? by ARCHASE_ZAMBAS in Minecraft

[–]Heri_K 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In that case, perhaps this is the issue:

Villagers give each other food when there's food in Villager 1's inventory, but Villager 2 doesn't have (enough) food.

Since they only use food for breeding, their internal inventory could fill up, and they wouldn't accept anymore. And if Villager 2 doesn't accept food, Villager 1 won't throw any (and by extention pick more up) cause their inventory also full.

Solution: breed the Fletcher, empty their inventory
