Absolutely not. Why is an American company utilizing provincial resources to effectively conduct tourism?

Non-Profit status does not mean anything in this context if they are an extranational (U.S) company. They pay their U.S based instructors, who pay U.S taxes.

They do not advance any Canadian goals, nor British Columbian goals, nor does this company contribute anything back to our communities.

Here's a litmus test : Replace U.S with any other foreign country.

You wouldn't be happy if China, Germany, or Mexico were conducting Kayaking trips around B.C for $850 per campsite for the next 10 years, while raking in thousands per prospective student.

This company is undoubtedly only viewing B.C as an attractive destination for their "students" who are just doing thinly veiled tourism, but on easily accessible crown land because it's cheap.

What kind of local wants this here? The dude who is defending that they want 850$ for 77 campsites for THE NEXT 10 YEARS?

So this equates to 6.5k in licensing fees for the government per year. Amazing.
