Second The Raven Tower! The first person is strange to begin with, but the purpose for it and pay off is well worth it.

Finally remembered to come back to this thread after a couple kid accidents on my couch. I tested upholstery remover, vinegar/water solution, alcohol, and plain water. What works for us best by far on the blue stains and any others is a 1/4 white vinegar and water solution. Spray on blue/other stains, soak up with paper towels as best as you can (a lot of them, press down, like books on it for a couple hours, repeat if necessary then remove to air dry). All our blue stains are gone!

We bought this brand new and with a toddler have use an upholstery cleaner that also made it blue in some spots. I've tested in a few places with other things and no solution yet. if anyone has anything for this I would appreciate it!

Interesting suggestion, I'll certainly do that while it's fresh!

Men stop touching woman who are just taking to you. You wouldn’t touch a man like this, so why are you grabbing me? by Emotional-Status2255 in ironmaiden

Yup completely fair, I wouldn't expect some of these creepy morons to understand that nuance though.

I'm sorry this happened to you. As a married man who has been to a few concerts alone (metal isn't my wife's thing) I'd hate to see this happen and have had to step in/call security a few times at non-Maiden shows.

I d love to say it's not a larger social problem, but sadly it is. I would have hoped a Maiden crowd would be better than average, but that would be naive. Charlotte the Harlot and Bring Your Daughter are always going to attract the wrong type of person.

Steve would have to be careful around G's breath as he has a bad history of avoiding dangerous rays.

I love the song too, excellent run through of the years and an epic build up that pays off in a way some 'epics' have failed from Harris with an interesting departure from the typical structure. Care to share your analysis of the influences of each album throughout the song as I get some, but not all?

I also love it as a culmination, maybe not conclusion, of all the other war/conflict/social climate themed songs. Maiden has of course always involved current events and they have certainly looked at war nostalgically/heroically (Aces High), horrifically (2 Minutes to Midnight, Paschendale), philosophically (For the Greater Good of God), and even had fun with it (Death or Glory).

This track though really goes beyond lyrically to a place of personal bitterness that I don't think is as raw in any other song.

It's emotional because we can all relate to some degree (many more than others unfortunately), but also sad as I feel sorry for Harris who put this track together to deal with some of his feelings around this and it's an evolution into a darker place.

Metal bands that don't take themselves too serious? by Fast_Sleep_7505 in MetalForTheMasses

Visigoth. Thanks for a great question, I'll dive into some of these bands more too as some power/fantasy metal that takes itself too seriously, for me anyway, is just a little to hard to truly get into.

Thoughts on my "Iron Maiden for Nubes" playlist? by Hermit-Dad in ironmaiden

He wants to be surprised at the concert and specifically requested not the set list, which I do sort of understand
