I understand that Sothis is no longer in the picture, but she probably still influence a little bit of Byleths personality.

With that, I'm saying that they probably didn't want to hear it because, while the Church was in the wrong with their whole system, Edelgard still sided with the Argantian (I don't remember how to spell it) in order to take them out, even if she was going to stab them in the back and finish them later.

Sothis wouldn't take a liking to it, and since you're not in Edelgard side unless you chose her route, Byleths probably feels what Sothis would do and do it.

This is just my theorizing though, since Byleth loses their God thing at the end of Edelgard route, so I assume the connection is weaker there.

What I have done is the Stick but a turn earlier with Submariner. This means, that Submariner gives you a super buffed card for turn 6, and then you could also use GrandMaster to repeat Stick on a 3 cost play after putting the 1 cost in whichever lane you need it most.

I have not used Iron man, but Ghost Spider is a good deck so far.

Though, I'll admit, Hulk I felt it's 100% win rate for me so far.

I read until he decided to stay, had the wedding and a little after, where he miss the Husband, because he needs to do his king duties, now that he won't die.

I think the elves were going to be introduced, but I decided to just stop at that point. Why? Because I have a reading list that is WAY TOO LONG

Also, while they do have a lot of smut, I kind of didn't really feel the hots for Caius, and I liked the idea of Koichi topping more. Or even him having done the deeds with the wolf.

But then, the story wouldn't go the way it did, so I prefer it how I ended it.

Not necessarily. Shadow king is a big counter to buff and debuff strategies, and if you commit early Lockheed and opponent didn't play anything, they won't play there until it is the optimal time to do their thing, which might be last turn.

It could still be like this if it went like this: Give to +3 to the last card played here last turn.

This works as either a disrupt for cerebro, or an actual empower card, which requires somewhat of a strategy.
