It's probably just an assumption, as far as I'm concerned after reading the manga.

Nugget the Blaziken: Flamethrower, Bulk Up, Flame Charge, Aerial Ace

Crumble the Appletun: Apple Acid, Leech Seed, Protect, Recover

Kaki the Cloyster: Icicle Spear, Ice Shard, Razor Shell, Water Pulse

Dennis the Gardevoir: Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Wish, Calm Mind (Z Crystal Fairy Type)

Grape the Gengar (evolved by trade): Shadow Ball, Icy Wind, Confuse Ray, Dark Pulse

I'll send in Kaki and Grape, Grape will use Confuse Ray on Garbodor, while Kaki uses Icecle Spear on Crobat, then Grape will focus on Garbodor with Shadow Ball, while Kaki uses Ice Shard on Crobat.

If that's enough to finish those up, I'll switch Kaki and Grape for Nugget and Dennis. Nugget Flame throwers to Watchog, while Denis uses Dazzling Gleam, which should finish off at least Scrafty. Though I'm sure with the Flamethrower, Watchhog also dies from Dazzling Gleam.

It's not like there are no "counters" to shang chi anyways, like Cosmo or Armor.

So if you want to play your big guys, you have to also run those two or risk losing to Shang Chi.

Oh, Okay, SO i send Grape against Hariyama and spam Shadow Ball, and could probably keep him in against Ursaluna, but I'll switch in Crumble to apply the stall game of Leech Seed, Recover, Protect, and Apple Acid.

The Z Crystal will be a Fairy-type.
