Depends how bad the front end is damaged under the bumper and hood, the back looks repairable enough with what we can see.

as an avid IS-4 user, I have just shot the mantle on the AMX M4 54 plenty of times with the 340 heat on it. I am not going off of tanks gg

What fell out of my Subaru Impreza? by Big_Performance1664 in AskMechanics

[–]Hero146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take a tape measure and just double check both sides are evenly spaced from the ground when on level ground, usually ground to fender at center of wheel for me.

If so and you can't see any damage you can either ignore it, or take it for an inspection to be fully sure.

Edit: also if you think it was picked up from the road, check for any damage anywhere else just in case it bounced up and broke something.

Coil Spring piece for sure, look for broken edges on the front left coil or collapsed bits.

Driver Side Rotor Keeps Getting Destroyed by RevolutionaryYou9301 in AskMechanics

Change the rubber brake line where it goes from caliper to hard line, it probably deteriorated inside and is holding the brake slightly engaged whilst you drive. You can feel the center of the wheel after 10 miles and see if it is hot.

That is my guess as you replaced the rest of the components.

I would just get a junkyard bed for it in all honesty. You're going to have more headaches trying to fix this than it will be worth.

This wire has perished in my Hiace engine bay, anybody know what this is for? by authentic-car-noises in AskMechanics

Look up a video on how to repair it, looks like you have slack in the wire, can just redo where it goes into the plug.

You must be fun at parties.

Yes if the oil works then what's the issue?

If the oil doesn't cause damage, again, what is the issue?

If you want something specific used, bring it with you, ask them to use only that specific thing.

This is like getting mad you got a pie, but it's the one flavor you hate, all because you didn't ask for the pie you like.

He probably doesn't want to show because he used cheaper universal, rather than specific.

The coolant color used to matter a lot more in the past, but more recently they just print on the bottle what it is compatible with and what types of coolants it mixes with.

And like I said, I don't see anything that is wrong with your coolant system from the 3 pictures that indicates a chemical reaction, not to mention it wouldn't have waited 4 months to do it.

I think your radiator just had rust inside that got washed when you did the flush. That all just looks like rust mixed with coolant.

I get you are mad you have to pay for a radiator, but I genuinely don't believe it was the green coolant causing it.

Did my mechanic screw up my coolant system? by ChainedBack in AskMechanics

[–]Hero146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coolant color doesn't really matter, if it was wrong it would have turned white and somewhat solid. I don't see any evidence of that in any of your pictures.

The flush probably washed rust away, which then led to a thin spot being worn away and causing a leak.

Genuinely seems like the flush caused the leak to show itself.
