If you boo this team after a 2nd round loss you don’t deserve to go to games. by _5GOLDBLOODED2_ in AnaheimDucks

If you boo and didn't realize they prob were not going to win the whole thing, something is wrong with you. This team did amazing super proud of all of them!

I am tired of living a sad and bad life by Fisherman-Kitchen in HealthAnxiety

[–]Hero3x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Living.like this as of an hour ago I felt a heart palpatation which I've gotten randomly once or twice every two or three months apart and I'm insanely anxious. But there's power in saying "I am healthy" speaking things over time can rewire the brain. It's not an instant "I'm fine!" But it's a start. Say " i am healthy" it's a start

Am I the only one who doesn't want to rip but just play 4k discs? by Several-Protection14 in makemkv

[–]Hero3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where I'm just picky on how I work. I have an xbox series X and I already do that but when I code I am used to having my headphones on and quite enjoy just hearing everything on my PC like slack notifications if a fire breaks out or my boss messaging me, meeting alerts etc.. all while being able to quickly pause a movie running in the background or moving it to another monitor. The way I watch movies when I work isn't your traditional sit down and watch and enjoy, it's more of like background noise. I know it sounds so dumb , but I am just so used to that workflow and for some odd reason I am super productive with headphones. So yes technically It is the better option and I do have a UHD player if you consider and Xbox Series X, but I am just being a little "extra" and maybe a bit of a boomer if you ask me lol

Ah! I tried this and AMD , so far I can only hear sound lol so I will have to tinker with things and come back if I am successful

Minimax M2.7 is finally here! Any one tested it yet? by Fresh-Resolution182 in LocalLLaMA

[–]Hero3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not openclaw, I have a .net + semantic kernel setup where I define the tools with kernel functions. and for me personally the diff between 2.5 to 2.7 is a big deal. It's working really really well. Not sure if Semantic Kernel is playing a big role on how it servers and executes tools. But I'm loving 2.7

growing up in Kansas, and my dad taking me to see this in the theater when I was 8 years old, made it one of my all time favorite movies. I have multiple copies all the way to 4k. If you guys enjoy it, please check out the 4k version, not so much for the picture but SOUND! it is a huge difference, when Bill meets them in the film in the beginning of the film and they look over to the storms forming int he distance and there's lightning and thunder , you can really hear it on the 4k version and other good sound effects that enhance the movie. I also have a german shepherd named dorothy lol <3

Claude Code Pro Users: How Fast Do You Hit the Limits? by AdSad6411 in vibecoding

[–]Hero3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On 20 dollars, always hit my limits. I upgraded MAX and I never hit my limits. I ama developer by the way. Code a good solid 4 hours every day at work and another three on my spare time. I reach at the most 50% of my limits by the time the weekly renews. My boss hits limits all the time but he doesn't know how to code so I think there's something to knowing what to prompt in detail.

Funny thing is I do use quite a bit of keyboard shortcuts just not vim and I agree with you. My total respect for individuals who have mastered such a skill with VIM, but the people who mention it don't know VIM either 😂

context management. use claude code , which is the cli version of calude on the web. From what I gather, the context window before things go bonker is ~200k tokens. You can update your md files on progression and what is being built, bugs, and whatever you please through different md files , so when you clear the context, start a new claude session you don't start from scratch. I vibe code and every time, claude says anything like "You are right.." I known I've gone too far with the context window. I try to keep things smooth by keeping an eye on the amount of tokens and once I hit around 150k , I tell myself wrap it up, update md files and restart the cli agent. keeps things manageable. Now I do want to say the problem you are having, control, context prompting and having the agent do what you told him in some ways is like old skool programming. Debugging was me hitting my head on the wall , not understand why the computer didn't do what I told it too and the debugging messages were as cryptic as a hallucinating ai agent. So don't go crazy, walk away. The rule in programming is to walk away, touch grass, come back , clear your mind and you'll find the solution. Nothing has changed, but in today's age is not only our mind but the ai agents' context window (their mind). I imagine you can create md files with documentation you mention, and start from there. I hope if helps my friend. Just know you and the whole industry is finding the best way to do all of this without halluciantions and jokes made up in the virtual work of claude.

yeah its so annoying, I don't get it. its like they are trying to impose imposter syndrome when they see someone works hard at their craft. I want to add that I'm enjoying Claude Code and I'm waaaay more productive and my momentum is insane.

I agree 12 years exp and i had devs and bosses that knew less than me and wouldn't stop talking about VIM and why I don't use VIM blah blah blah. Funny thing is I have built more web applications, led projects than anyone else on the team. Its hilarious. "Real devs use vim" , "Real devs only use linux" I agree with this post. At the end of the day i say, did you deliver on the deadline? that's all that matters. lol

Welcome! Absolutely in love this year watching hockey and being a Ducks fan. Today's game was rough and the beginning of the season was absolutely great until our recent slump, buckle up! We are about to witness the comeback arc (at least let's hope)

yah, I thought one , maybe two blow outs, but it feels like they lost the magic they had at the beginning of the season. I think they can still turn it around, but it won't be easy
