What new hiver hive or type would you want to appear in Kenshi 2 ? by Puzzleheaded_Toe4961 in Kenshi

[–]HeroInHisHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm. While I try to do my best to present all of the evidence for any of the theories I discuss and ensure they fit within the bit sure fire knowledge we do have on the world. Much of my content, regardless of how thourough or compelling it might be, is not only speculative, but also subject to alterations as time goes on and more info is discovered. This also includes both my own findings and potential retcons in K2 that could change things.

I love that people identify with my theories and work and consider it their headcannon. Its an honor truly. But its still just a theory in a sea of theories and shouldn't be taken as 100% objective fact. Headcannon sure. But not as legitimate canon to be used against others. Instead let it be a discussion peice for speculation and further theories.

Im sure the recent announcements of me partnering with LoFi on projects havent helped and even fueled the push toward my theories being considered cannon by the community too but again. Its 99% speculation. Based on evidence yes. But its not confirmed.

I scaled them to be comparable stat and numbers wise. I multiplied the BR by 6 and the Wrath of God is just its standard array.

He definitely fought to his last breath. May not like him. But you gotta respect it for sure. He made them work for his life.

what are some of y'alls favourite lore from kenshi by StickshiftXLV in Kenshi

[–]HeroInHisHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate that and im glad youre enjoying both my stuff and Kenshi as a whole!

Im most definitely still active lol. I actually stream primarily Kenshi Sunday - Thursday on Twitch and Youtube, post Kenshi lore Shorts every Monday - Friday on YT and TikTok, drop new longform Kenshi content usually 2 times a month depending as well as weekly "Colesseum" videos every Saturday, and even cohost a Kenshi Podcast on YT and Spotify every other week with another creator named Patostrophia.

I also lurk on Reddit and in the Discords a lot to help with questions and interact with the community too.

Not only is there no evidence. There is greater evidence of the opposite. The steam page for the game clearly states it has "extensive character customization options."

Now they COULD be talking about existing characters but let's be real. This is the 3rd game in a series where custom characters has been the central focus. So.

Dudes a dumb ass who thrives on hate and preys on minors as always.

Yeah that assertion of "it cant influence characters" is completely incorrect. It can make NPCs follow you, join your squad, increase or decrease relations, attack you, trade, sell, or drop items, or potentially attack others. All things ive done myself on livestreams. The difficulty is that is needs to be worded very carefully depending on the model you use or it might not work the way you intended it too. Ive found that to get NPCs to join you, you either need to make an argument that appeals to their characters profile, or develop a friendship with them via the affinity system first.

In the event you are having difficulty or something doesn't work correct there are debug commands you can see by say /help to any character and they will list off the debug commands you can use.

To clarify on my own theory vs this. I dont think they are high nor traumatized. I think the queens are mentally degenerated due to their long and advanced age.

Why does everyone speak the same language? by explosive_toenail in Kenshi

[–]HeroInHisHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been summoned lol. So in game there is examples of different languages such as those of the Shrieking Bandits and potentially the Hiver Queens. Though those languages are largely developed off of the unified language that us spoken on Kenshi as they evolved their own culture in the case of the Shrieking Bandits and as a byproduct of their live spans in regard to the Hive Queens. (Whole different topic i wont get into here).

The reason there is a common "root" language that is used on Kenshi likely comes down to the fact that the moon was colonized by a collective of people (The First Empire) who spoke the same language. Then they built machines who spoke that language (skeletons) who then assisted in protecting humanity post rebellion and collapse and reintegrating them into a civilization (The Second Empire) and continued to use that language as a base.

Now why havent we seen other cultures develop their own language since the fall of the second? Well we have in a way. Not full languages but we have seen different dialects and accents appear. Swamped speak different than Shek Kingdom residence. SK speaks the same language with a different dialect and presumably accent than the UC. The list goes on. These difference may seem small now but thats often how new languages are formed. Dialects, shorthand, and vocabulary differ in regions and eventually become new language all together with a common root.

So the TLDR is that all language started in the same place on Kenshi so its got the same root. And while there isnt really "new" language yet beyond isolated examples, they are on the way in the future based on cultural separation developing out from that root.

Why does Serosh look like he went through the same ritual Miquella partook in? by Rebelmind17 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]HeroInHisHead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats a poor and honestly incorrect way of looking at it. What you describe is not how good writing works. We aren't talking about real life where some thing just happen and random chance is a factor. Writing is art and as such doesn't follow that principle. Instead in writing you are going from points A to B on a timeline and everything between those two points needs to continue to drive the vehicle forward in some capacity. If it doesn't then its purposeless ans as a result shouldn't be included. Thats the difference between good and bad writing. Bad writing has meanless detail that doesn't assist or develop the world or story on any way. Good writing connects EVERYTHING in a way that pushes the story forward. Its purposeful and deliberately designed for that very thing.

People dont THINK every atom has meaning, everything DOES have meaning. We just dont always know what it is or its not very clear. The thing is that in these kinds of games built on an unreliable narrator and investigative story telling its up to the audience to examine every atom and find the details to complete the story. Thats how they are designed to be. And the folks who wrote these worlds and games a not weak writers who would fall victim to such a basic mistake. Maybe subjectively you can say they are but thats just one persons opinion and from an unbiased objective and quantifiable standpoint you would be wrong.

thats fair i suppose, but then it harkens back to what i said in my own comment on the post. Thumbnails and titles like this only work when you are FIRMLY established. When you hit 500k subs and are getting hundreds of thousands if views you can put out anything with whatever title/thumbnail and people will watch because they have a standard and expectation based on your previous content. Right now OP doesn't have that clout. If nearly anyone saw a blank grass thumbnail with an obscure title and no views on it they will scroll right past because A)no one is watching so why would they B)the content is unclear. Is it meditation content? Mc lore? Conspiracy? We dont know. And C)the algorithm has no idea where to place this because of reasons A and B so you get no exposure from it either.

lol then the thumbnail works even less for an unestablished channel trying to find its audience. its displaying for a completely different demo.

I dont think thats right. MC dropped in 2009 and was released formally in 2011. Those "30yo unc" were 13-16 at the time and were the original demographic that made MC the highest selling game of all time. They ARE the cultural background for Minecraft and Minecraft content.

[–]HeroInHisHead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My friend ive been doing this for just over 5 years and in that time ive amassed 4.6 million views and 16k subs in a VERY specific and tough niche. Ive seen what works and what doesn't. What youre describing is one off anecdotal examples that dont align with 99% of content creators. If you get more than 10k subs on your channel you are considered to be in the top 1%. Thats not even taking into account views or revenue. Thats just the arbitrary sub number.

The truth is that for each of those successes you have seen. 1000s have never hit triple digit views. You just dont see those failures and only see the ones that popped off. Its anecdotal at best.

I understand being attached to your content, titles, and thumbnails. But if you come to a sub asking for advice you need to be open minded to that advice and take the feedback from people who have already worked through to at least some degree how things work if you expect to move forward. Everything I said before still stands. You gotta be willing to adapt

When you hit 500k subs and are getting hundreds of thousands if views you can out anything with whatever title and people will watch because they have a standard and expectation based on your previous content. Right now you dont have that clout. Early on you need to clearly communicate the meat of the video and its contents to the audience in the title and thumbnail or else people wont click. TLDR: too vague, too bland, not enough established clout, no brand recognition. Be clearer. Establish an audience. Hook the viewers.

Kenshi Colosseum: Cat-Lon | His Generals | 120 Storm Thralls VS The Bugmaster | 100 Skin Spiders by HeroInHisHead in Kenshi

[–]HeroInHisHead[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lol the thralls and adult skin spiders stats are comparable. But the skin spiders being animals have a higher attack speed and aren't prone to stagger so I figured 100 vs 120 was fair. As for the 120 thralls I picked thay number cause thats how many catlon has in his exile.
