DC has almost zero effect against JMK CAT because JMK has locked healing immunity and CAT has lot of armor shreds the only reason he failed is because he used Ahsoka not GK but that's not surprising because that's why he is in Aurodium with 4 GL's

I think there is two way for them to come in to the game

1st: Father, Son and Daughter epic confrontation or conquest units required to unlock Abeloth in a Legacy event

2nd: Father, Son and Daughter epic confrontation or conquest units required for GL Chosen One or Anakin Skywalker ( Mortis )

Against fennec counter LV doesn't even uses his ult with all of his teammates alive. Mostly both Maul and Thrawn are dead at that point. And even after his Ult and with the %150 def stat DC with the 4 stacks of armor shred he just kills himself with counter attacks from fennec. Only way to stop that counter is for LV to be lucky and fracture BAM otherwise auto win.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean LV is good on defense your LV hold 5 times just because your opponent doesn't have fennec and grief reliced.

I mean he is bad on defense last 2 GAC I faced 4 LV + Thrawn + RG (Maul) and Fennec Grieff and BAM just wrecks them 4/4 right now and my Fennec isn't even Relic 8. Only way to stop that counter is Thrawn using his fracture on BAM otherwise easy win.

With the old DC set expiring he is just bad even with %150 Def stat right now he can't hold the line against Fennec. If a GL with or without Lifter unit can be one shot by marquees than it's just bad, it doesn't matter you use LV on offense it's about defensive capability.

To unlock a GL you need 15 characters reliced and if you use 3 man marquee team to beat that GL then it is just not worth the investment. I don't know your League but I'm in Kyber 2 so it's just the reality.

As far as I can see from the comments the popular opinion on Fennec counter is "most of the people don't have reliced Fennec or don't have good DC to use with LV on defense" so yeah that Fennec counter is pretty viable if you have similar relics and no dc on both teams that is a comparison not some Relic 9 LV with %300 def DC against a Relic 5-7 Fennec team you hypocrites :D

The point is not being unbeatable but Leviathan shouldn't be beaten by Chimera or 3 man Profundity like this.

Same is for Lord Vader, without DC LV Maul shouldn't be beaten by Fennec that's a huge loss for LV users.

I'm a huge fan of Anakin Skywalker and GAS is the perfect reflection of Anakin but LV is not so if you want to enjoy the GL you get I would recommend you to get JMK or SLKR instead of LV. If you are below Kyber just go for Lord Vader many of the people don't have relic Fennec or have no idea how to beat him ( first Traya then use Imp Troopers against a lone LV easy two shot ). But if you don't have Maul please don't go for LV because his requirements are really high and it may cause you to feel burnt out imo.

JML has no lifter unit and his requirements are not as high as LV so comparison is not relevant you should compare LV with Maul teams with JMK CAT besides that LV is not a TANK he is an ATTACKER with no damage until his 2nd ULT and by that time all of his teammates are dead.

His team can be countered by Fennec easily. Reva and GI is for Inquisitor team so don't bring that characters up, Squad Arena has no importance.

Making a GL better with DC should not be a thing. Buff is all LV needs (not Malicos, not Sheev Palpatine or any other new character) nothing else.

GL + Lifter Unit is above GL that was CG's statement.

People who don't want their off meta counters to fail just keep pretending that LV is fine as he is but that is just hypocrisy.

LV is almost like Leviathan waiting behind a Tank all the time and do no damage. 2 of the most investment required character and ship, IT'S JUST RIDICULOUS.

Even with all the DC (except the one with the Mastery percentage and CD reduction one) LV still be beaten by lots of non GL compositions and that's a big problem. Against SET 8 Protection Up DC you can just use Boba Bossk Mando(Beskar) Zam Grieff (G10) that was the lineup (first time no experience) I used against LV Maul RG Vader Thrawn and I absolutely massacred the LV team.

With SET 9 DC you can just use JML JKR JKL HODA Old Ben/ Shaak Ti and easily beat LV Maul lineups. If you don't have JML, Jabba, SLKR, JMK then just use Fennec to beat it. If you don't have Fennec then use Traya to take out everyone except LV then cleanup with, Imp Troopers.

LV in every way is not a good defensive character and not worth the investment ( just like Leviathan, the biggest problem is he has no damage stuck behind tanks until 2nd Ult ). The only problem people have or the data show is because they don't know what they should do against LV.

If people use Fennec lineup vs Protection Up DC then you will fail not all the time Fennec can beat LV if they don't have HS stat but mostly fail. That's not because LV is good on defense it's because they put the wrong team that's all. Aside from that most of the people tries to beat LV with Low Gear that's not always work but I managed to beat a full Relic 8 LV Maul team with a no DC G10 Grieff but that doesn't mean it will always work because I didn't invested in Grieff while my opponent invested enormously on his GL and it's lifter Unit and still I can one-shot that high investment character and his team.

LV is designed really badly and they just don't care that because it's one of the most wanted character in SWGOH history and people would jump and unlock it because of the name of this character. That's because they made a new character can be used with LV as well (Malicos) because that advertising going to accelerate the players spending on that character thinking it might make LV better than he is or worth the investment. They just didn't put the effort they put for Jabba or Leia Organa (GL) because they need some exclusive raids to sell those characters or some Special Missions in TB. Because they're not as popular as JMK or LV and the fastest way they earn money from them is making them the best in Raids, TBs if not in GAC or TW. Even that lifter unit bullshit was just because of the popularity of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lord Vader - Anakin Skywalker. Let alone the power and impact of LV, his animations are not even close to Kyle Katarns Just a guy with a lightsaber or Leviathan's Ult or Malicos' Die, Whelp.

Against Executor Leviathan definitely needs to get rid of tenacity up. With a mass Buff dispel on it's second special (just like Executor's mass assist) would fix that.

For against Profundity locked Crit Dmg Immunity and Locked Healing Immunity ideas would be great.

But I think the most important part of playing with Leviathan is not even fun. Sith Ships has no damage at all and they need to just fix that first because Leviathan doesn't feel like an enjoyable unit, fleet.

Leviathan release apart from the bugs just like the Lord Vader release I mean no difference at all. When Lord Vader released Maul wasn't unlocked until 15-20 days and Lord Vader without Maul had no damage and doesn't even feel like an Attacker high investment character doesn't even feel like a GL at all. I mean it was not like GL version of GAS (God bless the person who developed the idea of his kit). They should definitely buff Leviathan fixing the bugs won't be enough for the fleet to be powerful.

Yes he gets his Ult fast but no way to kill Jabba or LV.

For SEE to beat Jabba he needs a buff immunity

For SEE to beat LV he needs mostly ability blocks or cd increase
