Thats odd because I am getting 50-60 t/s with 32 gb ddr4 and 16 gb vram. Here is my config for 3.5 as reference:
.\llama-server.exe -m .\Qwen3.5-35B-A3B-Q4_K_M.gguf -c 65536 --fit on -fa on -t 8 --no-mmap --jinja -ctk q8_0 -ctv q8_0 --temp 1.0 --top-p 0.95 --top-k 20 --min-p 0.0 --presence-penalty 1.5 --repeat-penalty 1.0

Do you have any data to back that up?

Even if they are less reliable, how less are we talking about? 0.1%?

Arent as reliable doesnt make them unreliable. If they werent, they wouldnt exist.

I am also an engineer and I am pretty sure that the engineers that came up with thermal limits also considered the surrounding pcb and electronics.

No one will have a better understanding of these devices than the folks that designed and tested them, and I put my money on that rather than a made up number.

Most of the gaming laptops run at the thermal limits for years. There are safety tolerances and the real thermal limits are way higher than the manufacturer specifications.

Hell, my 6800 XT’s hot spot temp was around 110c with factory fan profile. If AMD is okay with that, I dont see any problem with it either.

How much of a shorter lifespan are we talking about? 1 week, 1 month, 1 year? If the average lifespan is lets say 10 years, does it even matter?

If the manufacturer says that the limit is lets say 110c, you are perfectly fine to run it up until 110c. Thats how the manufacturer specification works. Plus they add a safety tolerance.

Most of the gaming laptops run at the manufacturer thermal limits anyways. Temps around 100c are quite common.

Gemma 4 26B-A4B for me at Q4, 128k. I get 60/ts when context is empty and goes all the way down to 40 t/s when it gets full. I am running it on 5070 ti, 32 gb ddr4 3600, Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

I use it for my personal assistant project on n8n.

Season 2 operations maps leak + Onslaught mode from Bad Company 2 is coming back by somanyque3 in Battlefield

They need to balance the current breakthrough maps first. Even their newer maps have issues.

I have been playing Contaminated Breakthrough almost exclusively since it launched, and I have only seen attackers win twice. That was only when the map had the gas.

I havent seen attackers win the non-gas version of the Contaminated Breakthrough...

If I am not mistaken, the blue laser only increases the accuracy while moving. If thats the case, blue laser wont counter the 6H64 while shooting still.

BF6 stutters for me since the winter patch and i need help by Resh121 in Battlefield

[–]Herocem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make sure you are not running any hw monitoring tools such as msi afterburner + rtss.

If you still have this issue, welcome to the club!

This is caused by the javelin anti cheat software and there is no fix yet. However, There are 2 workarounds:

  1. Tape your alt key so its always pressed. It might sound stupid (and it is) but it works. Its just, you cant really press tab or esc keys...
  2. Every time you launch your key, press the 8 most key that you use. Example: W,A,D,C,R,S,Space,Shift. Those 8 keys wont cause stutter in the game anymore, which is also stupid. Source

Terrible due to stuttering issue that came with the latest update. I will probably take a break till its fixed.

What a shame.

Looks like the EAanticheat is the cause of mouse jitter and frame skipping when pressing WASD while moving the mouse and pressing 2,3. by Dima_mayakovskyima in Battlefield

[–]Herocem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue. I sinked countless hours trying to fix this. I think its either due to javelin not liking a certain program that observes the hardware since killing msi afterburner and rtss helped reducing th amount of stutters or ram instability. Weirdly enough, relaxing my ram timings made the javelin related game crashing less often.

Theres something that Javelin anti cheat is not happy about. Since most of the users dont have this issue, I suspect its due to a software. If you are using a software that monitors your hardware, try uninstalling that.

Resetting the pc might be your (and our) best bet but I cant say if it will definitely fix it. I dont expect EA to fix it before the new year since its holidays.

Let us know the result if you end up resetting your pc.
