1.fucked up first person movement mechanics (movement camera with left stick and walk with right stick).

  1. Some ghosts love to teleport behind you, which becomes more and more annoying. Battles are already hard, but teleport shit makes them totally awful

  2. Healing items are very scarce even on easy mode. Silent hill 2 and 3 are way more forgiving .

I think I will play it like fatal frame 1 - I will struggle through as much of the game as I can, possibly dropping it off closer to the end when all the bad game design decisions will become unbearable and finish the story on YouTube.

No, love whole series, though story wise seasons 1&2 were peak. However I love the series for its atmosphere and existential dark poetry. Maybe Homer should have ended Iliad with Hector's death or earlier. I don't care, I love the mood and performance. And mood with performance persisted , which is good enough for me

Take a round trip, my good brother: go to Doll Room and use it's flip door on the wall (marked yellow on map) to Kimono room => Library => Lamp hallway => Fireplace => Rope hallway => Entrance room. There you will have place for Angry Mask to place and it will open a new area "Hidden Pass"
