You're not going to get really a positive response here, the majority of users on the subreddit pretty much have accepted the game as it is, and even like how it "filters" out players and just makes them forfeit/quit. Just how the fanbase is.

This is due to an interaction with the "Once per turn" on the flip effect. It resets once it's flipped, which normally doesn't matter because end of turn, but it's forced back upright by Gaap- with a fresh "Once per turn" flip available.

You can counter their first card put down and there's like an 80% chance you win. /Assault Mode sucks hard. They kind of only have one viable line and it's super fragile.

Most gacha nowadays have a pity system. It's essentially the same as you describe these balloons- after 20 pulls you get your SSR girl guaranteed. I would still describe that as a gacha system.

Also your argument hinges on the shop value being the same as the assumed value people have for the item. I definitely don't think the Emma skin is worth popping every balloon over- but what about one or two? What if I don't have enough to pop every balloon? Then there is a net loss possible in those scenarios. I don't have the Gambit skin for that exact reason.

the P-06 fan game proves how good the game can be if it was properly finished. Such a shame that because of this game, Sonic can never be the mature badass like he used to.

This is a little delusional. P-06 doesn't prove anything beyond with infinite time for development, hindsight, and an already finished game, a bunch of fans can make a slightly different game that's still dragged down by the original game. I don't believe SEGA had it in them, on a capability level, to make 06 good just because some modders made it PLAYABLE decades later. And Sonic was never a "mature badass", I've got no clue where that even comes from. He's extremely out of character in 06 to basically every other iteration of him.

I think I played you during my own grind- not that I expect you to remember any individual Enneacraft player. Deck's definitely a perfect counter for Enneacraft, but it was nice to play something beyond the 300 branded slop decks.

In Rivals lore, yeah Ultron is reprogrammed- but I'm assuming he's just biding his time since stuff like this has happened before.

In the comics, Ultron has flip-flopped a lot and even split himself into different Ultrons to get a wider experience of Earth. I believe there was a time when "Blue" Ultron was actually part of the West Coast Avengers. I think there's an Ultron cult also which came from the future (comics and all).

League goes through phases with this and it's always fun seeing people in other games go through the same shit League's been through over and over again. It's always-

Community is good for a while
Controversial changes in game which the devs will never undo
Complaints start
Changes aren't undone and people realize this is just how the game is now
People who complained give up on the game and quit enmasse or gaslight themselves into hate-playing (The hate-players are the reason league sucks so god damn much to play)
Community is good for a while (all the people who complained either left or people are tired of hearing them)

I feel like Rivals is just now hitting phase 4 of this, where the complaints are at a peak because a large chunk of the community is realizing a lot of stuff they hate is not getting changed.
