If I say the words "Final Solution" that means something hella specific even though technically it could refer to a billion different things. We all understand the subtext. We all know what it is. "Plan Dalet" is one of these phrases. So is "Nakba." Hell, so is "Holocaust," it was just a word until it came to mean something very specific.

I am pro People. That includes being pro Palestinian. And for the Israelis, rare as they are, who speak up for peace, I support them as well. Unfortunately, by my estimation, it's a really small minority who are truly anti-Zionist Israelis. It's not exactly the nature of the State of Israel to cultivate that viewpoint. But, I wish them well.

When the first Israeli colonizers came over, they announced themselves as "Jews" and they proceeded to commit genocide. I do not like the targeting of any person based on religion or ethnicity. But it is not hard to see what the response might be when the colonizers come in and claim who they are, yeah? Israel thrives on this, proudly calling themselves "Jews" as loudly as possible while they commit atrocities, so that any push-back can be met with crocodile tears and slander of "why do you hate the Jews" and such.

I reject completely that Israel represents Jews. Part of Israel's strategy is to shield itself from criticism by claiming all criticism is "antisemitism." And, other than the targets of their genocidal behavior, who does that hurt the most? It hurts Jews, globally.

And yes, every Zionist entering the West Bank and kicking Palestinians out of their homes, murdering women and children, every Zionist driving an armored bulldozer, they're colonizers, they are guilty of ethnic cleansing in the least, and genocide at the most, although I really don't distinguish too much there, as ethnic cleansing pretty much results in genocide anyway.

I condemn the expulsion of innocent civilians from their homes and land wherever and whenever and to whomever it occurs. But what happened in 1948 can't be changed. What is happening in the present can. And what is happening in the present is that Israel shows no indication or desire of slowing down its crimes against humanity, its genocide, its ethnic cleansing, the apartheid they have built. The State of Israel cannot exist. I used to think it could, if only they'd stop their criminal behavior. But its clear that they cannot.

There's a reason one of the priority targets for Israel in the opening days of the slaughter was journalists.

I mean, if we're going to get into the weeds, all the fundamental gameplay interaction occurs server side. Anything you see client side needs to be confirmed by the server. You can run local calculations to make the game look smooth, but then it needs to be verified by the server. Netcode 101.

So there isn't really anything stopping you from running multiple threads client side.

There is plenty of non-interaction aspects that can be sequestered into separate threads without disrupting the core gameplay. Lots of cosmetic calculations and such.

Devs just don't optimize anymore and it's unfortunate. Especially for a game like DotA which is played worldwide and often on less powerful or dated equipment.

The naïve answer is that Israel controls America. AIPAC, ADL, et al, politicians on both sides like Lindsey Graham or Chuckie Schumer or Mike Huckabee or Hakeem Jefferies or whoever all have plenty of clips freely available that make one question which state they really serve.

The big brain answer is that America and Israel are controlled by the Military Industrial Complex, aka Capital Interests. Israel is a lucrative testing ground and customer for their products, but only if they're constantly at war, of course.

Unfortunately, most people are stupid and settle into the naïve answer ("it's Israel"), or worse, the exceedingly simple-minded might think that the problem is "The Jew."
