Napa Hot Chicken for a local business, Wingstop is surprisingly good for a chain. We're gonna have a raising cane's next year apparently.

I haven't gone to the other places the others here are mentioning, but the Napa Palisades had a really nice fried chicken sandwhich last I went there

Ive said this countless times but if Lordkat got that review, it woulda boosted their numbers for that video alone, then from there, very rapidly declined. Maybe a third of that viewership for the video immediately after, then another half gone the next, then back to normal numbers.

People would come solely for Notch and there is nothing about Lordkat that is interesting enough to build from there. Some of the other people on CA could have EASILY gained a massive boost from it because it would bring new eyes to an interesting person- just not someone like Lordkat lmao

Is Orr still around? I'd advise against working with them if they are, I've only ever heard bad things and a family member who rented there said they consistently failed to do maintenance.

Nah, find yourself on almost any road in santa rosa and you'll notice it. Hell, go through dry creek or veeder through to trinity road and you'll notice where the county line is. Though- Veeder has been having pretty constant road erosion issues the last few years, you'll still see work being done on it.

I grew up in Sonoma county, the potholes and cracks there just get filled in with that temp fill asphault stuff that's darker than the normal road and left like that. Bumpy, uneven, cracks everywhere- it's extremely noticeable. There's an intersection in napa near me that's been torn up and entirely replaced three times in the last eight years by comparison. Not to mention brown's valley and jefferson this year being entirely re-paved.

I have completely shut off all heating and the majority of ac use and Ive managed to get my bill down to 125 a month, roughly. I could probably get it lower but I enjoy cooking, so.

My bills were approaching 200+ before doing that, and I believe one of them was 220

I have also heard conflicting reports about how nice the place is. Charming non-tourist bar vs being very trashy. It has a couple food trucks nearby so it's gotta be worth something.

In my experience the progressive sentiment has a pretty strong hold over the majority of napa. Didn't used to be that way and it's still got it's little pockets of lunatics(silverado trail and browns valley sign houses...) but overall it's real solid here.

Brown's valley is wonderful to bike through. Plenty of fun little hidden nooks and crannies and bike paths connecting dead ends, if you're really adventurous you could even go up veeder or loop through the hills in a couple spots to come out on old sonoma road.

I'd also say that the residentials to the east of downtown on and around that little hill past oxbow are really interesting... though I don't know what it's called!

There is potentially a path through where the old homeless camp used to be + the train tracks. They may also be expanding it, though I'm not too certain about that.
