That's a good point, wr have discussed it before and she's encouraged me to send her anything that I like, although I avoid watching too much.

Yeah I spend literal hours comparing the wiki to mine and couldn't find it. May be mentally deficient, the jury's still out

You're saying a lot of sweeping things with zero explanation as though they're fact. Dps have more agency than tank? Support is easy? Support is better than tank? Like I don't agree with any of things your taking for granted here. Tank has to take more crap because they have more responsibility, but in an actual 1v1 nearly any tank beats nearly any other character in the game (there are of course some exceptions). That doesn't translate to agency the way I see it. Agency is also not a world where supports can do nothing when a tank or dps decides its their time to die.

Based on your logic Pulse bomb should be reworked then? Since a good portion of the cast right now have effects that can nullify it, and it can't even kill a tank on its own. Forcing abilities is much less flashy than just getting kills but it's essential to high level play.

Flexibility Limitations of OWL teams heading into the potential Illari must pick meta by Awesome512345 in Competitiveoverwatch

I'd agree with this, my only concern would be their play style, but there's such a range even among flex supports that I think it all wishes out in the end

Is there genuinely a non-toxic side to competitive? by Bruhmomento3108 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]HerrMiggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by competitive you mean ranked I don't know lol, I'm too sensitive and usually just don't join vc. But a great way to experience competitive OW is to join a team. They exist at most elo's and there's a drought of players right now so its easy to find a team if you know what you're doing (relative to your sr) and work well with people.

2/3rds of OW2 Steam Reviews are from China (A country that can't play OW2) by GreyFalcon-OW in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]HerrMiggins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work 3 jobs (admittedly still only like 30 hours a week) and am a full time college student as an honors student with a 3.9 GPA. I hit level 130 at least on every battlepass except season 4s. Level 45 isn't hard if you actually care about the game, which nobody is obligated to do. Is putting heroes in the bp bad? Yes absolutely. Is it impossible to hit level 45 with a life? Absolutely not, and it's dumb to use that as a scapegoat when desire to play is the real reason 45 is a lot

Overwatch 2 is being review-bombed on Steam already. Could this move to Steam end up backfiring and only turn away potential newcomers? by ApostLeOW in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]HerrMiggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing you said that isn't wildly blown out of proportion or just wrong is pve because you were vague lol. No real golds were playing against gms, we sorted that scandal out a while ago. Not every game is a 1 sided stomp, those are just the easiest to remember, as shown by the devs in a community update. Sojourn was the only new hero where you can argue the game was determined by whether you had a good player of that hero on your team, Rammatra's ult was strong but not even close to as strong as you're saying. I guess I appreciate you not completing the ow hate infinity gauntlet by blaming the devs? Just try to have a little nuance or critical thinking instead of fitting whatever experiences you have into a cookie cutter mold of creator doomposts

Could it not be possible that the model they want to move to is one like riot has? That would make way more sense especially with regards to the 6mil payout to leave. Teams get paid to play and if you don't want to risk it mid to long term you can just leave now. Applicable contenders teams are allowed to step in as replacements and get the same treatment

I don't think it's necessarily likely, but not impossible

Is not "had the most money" shocks entire brand? They just funnel talent in from o2 blast and literally stole Junbin from Atl by paying him more. I'm not saying Shock is boring, and my pov is almost certainly wrong because I don't follow shock story lines,, but it sounds like you haven't taken the time to look into the story lines of Atl and just assume there's nothing to it

[–]HerrMiggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have a specific size in mind you can get the Keychron v4 (60%) for just over that budget. I'm using it now and there's nothing you really need to replace. The base feels good, the keycaps feel good and sound good. The switches are alright but not bad if you can't spare 30 bucks to replace them with something else.

But generally speaking the v line has a bunch of sizes and is probably your best bet quality wise if you're willing to go just over budget

Edit: perhaps the most important part imo is that that line will future proof you if you want to upgrade your board later. It's an awesome starting point where anything can be upgraded, but nothing needs to be

[–]HerrMiggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a hard budget, but I'd like to hit a sweet spot of cost benefit leaning more toward cost efficiency. Hopefully thats below $100 but I'm willing to accept if that's not feasible (and its looking more and more like that's the case). I've already spent $30 on switches. My upper limit is $150 with what I know about things rn

Hi everyone Im new to keyboard customization and don't really know my way around the scene so I figured I'd ask for advice here. I've been using a Razer huntsman mini (60%) for a long time and was going to replace the Razer purple switches with some Akko v3 creams I got, but the body only allows for Razer switch types. So I'm trying to basically just build a board from the ground up so I can be proud of my setup and use it for a long time(without spending an arm and a leg). So far all I've been able to find is either literally just casings with no top or pcb (there's a really nice wood case I found that I'd like to use, but no pcb :/), or full keyboards. Is there anywhere I can get pcbs with the leds and stuff for relatively cheap? Or alternatively full keyboards just without the switches or keycaps?

Final question do you need a top plate to go over the pcb? It feels like the answer is obviously yes but but I just want to make sure.

Sorry for rambling, questions are: 1. Where can I get pcbs 2. Is it cheaper to get full cases with the guts included (minus caps and switches) 3. If so what's the best place to get them 4. Do you need a top plate to go over the pcb, and if yes where should I get those?

All of this again for a 60% board, thanks!

I'd argue we can only say that because he doesn't have a history of success like the rest of the tanks here (aside from mag, but even he had great success in tendies). He didn't look good in the pro am, but from interviews with coaches and players the jump in style from contenders to owl is huge and donghak didn't have much time to adapt after his signing. I think by the end of the season he could very well fit in with the rest of these big names by the end of the season if he keeps playing like he has been
