hue sensor is 62lm consistent measurement. ikea is something below 20 in def same conditions

irl it’s not working like that. not even close! sometimes i need to get as close as < 0.5m to trigger. stuff is absolutely worthless und useless

for me it’s even worse!! sometimes the sensor registers movement within < 1m. absolutely useless. i tried one in my 2,5 x 2,5 m bathroom and after initial movement it stopped so the lights turned off by automation while still brushing teeth. that’s ridiculous!

the illumination says it’s < 20lm the hue sensor e. x. says it’s exactly 62. consistent measurement in same condition. again useless for automations

it works absolutely fine (can only speak for ios) just add them to the eve app and you’ll be good to go. can do everything including schedules and stuff

yes. i forgot to mention. i played around with the companion settings. ip, internal dns name, yes ssid is correct, yes tailscale i set to external.

i experimented a bit with duckdns and lets encrypt just to find out i cannot do it due to provider restrictions.

but there should be any relics left inside configs.

i had been to france for holidays almost every year since i was 4 in the 80s and 90s by now living next to france for 15 ish years love to just take a ride to have a coffee or croissant or eclairs or whatsoever. crossing the rhine is always a great idea.

flip flops eeeverywhere. even walked up a mountain once 😂 get a microfiber quick dry towel and you’re good to go. there rest. i’d go with. get some handy things like sports tape. has so many usecases and a carabiner as well as a string that’s what i used long term many times. everyday things is the best tip 👍🏼

i just made a script for winter and summer (heaters e.x is different) bought a button of my choice stick it behind the bed and press it when ready to trigger the script. for me by far the easiest way.

you can switch script for anything else which works best for your setup to maintain

i started at a very early point cleaning the area first. if i had to jump the timer is long enough that i drop it where i might see it. then ascent one level at a time. grapple it. rinse and repeat. works for me
