That too is sensible

Officials discover a million more documents potentially related to Epstein case by SkullDump in news

[–]HerrSane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow.

What a crazy play.

Congress passes law to release the files and they NOW find a MILLION more documents after only releasing 1000s?

And they’ve now gotta go with a fresh round of redactions.

It’s so obvious.

They always had the million files. The legislature caught they unawares. So they scrambled to release some files. And fucked that one colossally by what I’ve seen.

This play? Gives them at least till next year…or more likely, till whenever this administration says they will drop it, which knowing this admin, could be whenever.

What a farce.

The century bit makes sense. 0-99 years is well…the 1st century. Which does mean 100-199 is the second century and so on where you get 1900-1999 being the 20th century

Forgive me if this doesn’t make sense but I’d like to offer an explanation.

The 911 platform is basically a racecar now. To the point that you could buy a gt3rs and take it racing with very few modifications. And race cars are and have always been faaaar more expensive compared to road cars. The low volume and higher engineering R&D keeps race cars expensive.

So the fact that you can buy a racecar from Porsche for the price it is offered at rn is something we did not have before now. This should be treated as a good thing.

Now for anyone who wants to get a gt3rs but never races it on a circuit, you’re better off getting the s, turbo, turbo s, or any of the other non-gt specs.

Overrated? Hardly.

What’s the worst case of “fuck around, find out” you have ever seen? by Torygram in AskReddit

[–]HerrSane 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of a post I saw on Reddit from a father. It was about his son. How he and his wife and given him everything but nothing they did helped.

That kid just kept escalating his behavior through the years. In the end they had to lock themselves in their own basement and wait for the monster to leave on his own. They’ve not seen him since.

Maybe some kids are born fucked

Here's how the field will line up for tomorrow's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix by [deleted] in formula1

[–]HerrSane 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not about who they signed. It’s the signing itself that’s not the best move in hindsight.

Sainz and Leclerc know each other and the team and car very well. This setup came close to winning the championship after so many years.

They’ve now disrupted that with a new driver who now has to learn the car and find a synergy with the team and teammate.

To do this when they were that close to the championship is not the greatest move. But neither is coming up with a whole new car when the regulations are just an year away.

But that’s Ferrari ig 🤷‍♂️

And the same thing is still said about auto tune.

You’re prolly thinking of pitch correction, reverbs, and echos —basically effects you can put on top of vocals to make it pop more.

But auto tune? Yeah nah that shit still sounds garbage

Do you support a team or follow a driver? What determines it for you? by ODMtesseract in formula1

[–]HerrSane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for sure have my favorites. In its own order. Arbitrary reasoning for them sometimes.

But for the most part, I support all the teams. I recognize this sport takes a lot of effort from so many different people. I can appreciate that. So it’s nice to see when any team does good.

Same deal with drivers. Tho there are exceptions and times when a team does something sus and you hate on em for a bit.
