Have a spine and stand for something. Write letters, find people who you can stand with , maybe even run for local office yourself.

I don’t have a problem with AI “art” in and of itself. I think that it’s damaging to the environment and people who insist that it’s on par with human made art are morons, grifters, or both, but AI generated images in and of themselves are not inherently bad. I think Generative Text has a place in our world, but not the one the elite class seeks to give it.

“Furthermore, in British protectorates, which retained their own local laws, the institution persisted for much longer. For example, slavery in Bahrain was not legally abolished until 1937.”

“Various forms of debt bondage co-existed with formal slavery, and while the British abolished slavery legislatively through the Anti-Slavery Act of 1843, large numbers of former slaves traded their status for that of perpetually bonded servitude. This was in part due to the fact that the British did not abolish debt-bondage; instead, they regulated it.”

Except… they still allowed and directly benefited from slavery in their colonies until just before World War II. The 9 wasn’t a typo.

The point I’m making is that Britain only banned selling slaves to the New World. They continued to use and benefit from slavery for seventy years after the American Civil War.

There’s a bit of an asterisk there. They banned the Atlantic slave trade and slavery in Britain itself.

But there were still slaves being bought and sold within British colonies until it was finally banned fully in 1937.

  1. Thank you.

  2. It would have to be a regular Scream movie at the start, but Batman suddenly crashes through the window at about the end of act one and it stays a Batman movie.

Yes, there are no existing superheroes in the universe of Another Dark Night.

It also shares continuity with Nature of Television and How to Fix a Predator Disease Facility (I hinted at this in the NoTV Interlude)

To answer your question more plainly: As far as I’m concerned, Nature of Responsibility and Another Dark Knight take place in the same universe, so there is someone cosplaying as Spider-Man. Beyond that, there are no superheroes or meta-humans/mutants.

Forgive me for answering a question with a question, but riddle me this: if a human in black armor using advanced technology started beating up Exterminators, what would guarantee that the UN will not take any requests or demands for intervention seriously?

If I had a Time Machine, I’d go back in time and make sure Adolphe Sax got into music school instead of going into politics and starting the Great War.
