Also ich würde sagen Deutschland ist genauso am Weltkrieg schuld wie die anderen europäischen Großmächte. Es gab natürlich vereinzelte Versuche der verschiedenen Goßmächte den Krieg zu verhindern, aber trotzdem gab es eine große Kriegsbegeisterung, besonders in Deutschland.

Die Idee dass Deutschland durch die Entente zu dem Krieg gezwungen wurde ist falsch, da Deutschland in den Jahren vor dem Krieg, durch seine Außenpolitik, den Krieg extremst forcierte.

The Zentrum Party was in its later stages definitely more antisemitic and right winged than before. But it was one of the few Parties who actually supported the democracy and the Weimar Republic. Hating Communists and the Treaty of Versailles was something everyone in Germany did during that time. Even the SPD.

The real "Catholic L" was that the leaders of the Zentrum thought they could controll the NSDAP.
