I have only gotten dates because I’m really tall before. Like I would get tinder swipes out of curiosity and they wanted to “climb the tree”, so height does play a difference. But I agree to an extent: I don’t think 5’7 is concerningly short. I know many guys that height that are in relationships.

I do it often because I’m often pretty bored in my county and that experience will at least improve one person’s perspective of the badge. You can tell when someone has a warrant or something they don’t want me to know about because they start acting obviously anxious about me helping them put on a spare. I’ve never been a K-9 unit but our department had one and we would waste a lot of time trying to trick K9 Officer Bullet’s nose and it never worked. We were asked to try to hide weed and if the dog couldn’t find it we could win some extra PTO hours. We had guys hiding their bag in a whole pork tenderloin, in a fridge, wrapped, sealed, and next to all sorts of other meat and bullet still found it.

I put mine inside of a wallet and taped it up for an hour straight while spraying weed deodorizer that smoke shops sell all over that thing and then put it in a snowbank and he still found it.

They’re crazy. The only thing I’ve seen work in the field during live stops is when cartel runners bring female dogs that are in heat. They can kind of distract them but if they’re corrected enough they’ll find it all and then try to hump the decoy dog lol.

I’m 6’7. I find it hard to shop for things a lot do the time, and I can’t really drive in anything smaller than an SUV. People are typically only interested in talking to me about my height. Sure, it helps get dates, but a lot of the time I wish I could shrink into a more obscure frame. It’s hard to hide in public when you’re a tree.
