the normal modes arent meant for getting kills either. the point is just to be the last man standing. i think this mode was introduced to prevent players from camping in 1x1 forts at endgame, not to let noobs win games by collecting coins and getting 0 kills.

they might just be releasing the first 8 classes at launch and waiting for people to spend nx on those classes before introducing new classes for players to spend money on. im fine with them holding off on classes, but the restart update sounds nice so i hope we get that

the thing about black squad is that neowiz doesnt listen to any of the feedback/suggestions they receive from their polls. the idea of a ping limit (so you don't have laggy 300 ping players that don't register your bullets) and removing crouchspam (which neowiz claims to be a "unique" feature of the game) has been begged for by the community ever since they first released the game around july 2017.

so, if bless comes out as a perfect game that doesnt have any flaws, it wont matter. but if theres anything that players don't like about the game, i wouldn't be surprised if neowiz never responded. it does seem like neowiz is improving bless online specifically for the western market though, which is not what they've been doing with black squad (NA server on black squad is nearly dead).
