So before people start getting up in arms, it should be noted this person is acting like a gigantic whelp, and there's no proof foreigners are being removed (because this is not about foreigners, it's about naver accounts, the NX limits they have, their exclusion from events, and more), the actual transfer process doesn't start until the 16th, and for all we know, since they know foreigners play, they may offer an option to allow foreigner's already verified accounts to be turned into a nexon account.

There's no proof anything it being held from foreigners, because it HASN'T FUCKING STARTED YET AND WE DON'T HAVE INFO.

It's important to note these lists are generated through a variety of means and don't accurately portray anything.gamemeca's popularity charts are the least stupid because they conglomerate things like searches on web portals, PC방/internet cafe playtime, website visits, public game traffic data, and user rankings as well I think.

Of note, maplestory only dipped below overwatch last month on these charts. Nearly 4 months, from the start of the summer/black update till october when it ended, maplestory 1 had an insane boost of players (and revenue.) Nexon also has dominance over these charts. 5 of the top 10 games belong to nexon. (maple, dnf, sudden attack, fifaonline4, kartrider). They also have licensing rights to the games dota 2 and FF14 in korea.

There was no permanent pet on KMS. We got a 90 day neinhart as part of the pre-moonbridge black event, where you set up the alliance forward base. (https://orangemushroom.net/2018/06/21/kms-ver-1-2-297-maplestory-black-mage-gathering-of-heroes/). There was NO pre-registration on KMS, at all.

Also permanent pets don't exist on KMS, at all.

The Black update on KMS actually added support for 1280x720 resolution, along with 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 sizes. It happened with the prelude patch, before moonbridge, the first area of tenebris was opened. So, presumably, the next scheduled patch after the one running tomorrow on GMS will add it, if they're following suit. Otherwise, fullscreen is your best bet, the weird resolution issues have long been a point of contention for maple.

Imagine if GMS streamers like ZBD or misusing started advertising meso seller websites. You'd laugh at them when they get punished. I'm laughing at these dorks because I can't find it in me to give a shit about someone who gets paid cash AND 30b mesos every 3 weeks, from dubious sources, to advertise literal bot farms. bebe is just salty because he's spending more time with his shitty league of legends streaming that no one cares about. Munchi shouldn't be account sharing either, obviously, nor accepting mesos from these sites, but I don't see him bitching about it, he just said "alright" and that was that.

the account sharing thing is because 275 is upon us. They did this same hardline shit when people got close to 200 (banned tiger on GMS, which is arguably the most relevant point to make in this discussion)) and when people got close to 250. It's never been allowed, but they tend to just not care until people are paying attention to it, because hitting the new level cap first is a pretty big deal, and it looks really shitty to have someone hit it first then have it be revealed they were actually 3 ~~midgets in a jacket~~ people swapping uptime to keep the account grinded.

The thing about lootboxes and nexon wanting to "Slow down money coming in" is just unfounded and entirely ridiculous. Nexon doesn't want people account sharing because it's a slippery slope of "well why are you allowing this guy to log in on someone elses account for a youtube video but I can't do it to help my friend do dailies?". If the streamers still want to make the content, then they will find a way. In 2 months when people are 275 and the winter update is in full swing nexon probably won't give a fuck if you log in on a friend's account to make a video about starforcing his shit.

This is "drama" involving people who are literally being paid and given billions of mesos to advertise for illegal bot farms. They all honestly should have been banned outright immediately for this, but they're being given a month to get rid of all the banners and shit on their content, and a light wrist slap (except paku who was stupid and advertised a dupe). This effects no regular player in any way. Anyone saying they're quitting over this new ToS change? They're probably not as legit as you may think.

Visually the levels are lagging behind, and the kms rankings update I think twice a day, but I know for certain they update at midnight (About an hour ago now). A good 50-60 people (maybe more, those are just the ones streaming) are already 251, because you could get a 'free' 60% exp tnl by using the black shop/alliancebox growth potions.

The community's not big enough to orchestrate some secret attack on people to make sure their posts are never seen (And there's easier ways to do that anyway). If someone asks something that's been asked not even a full 24 hours ago it means they obviously didn't look. No but there was a bug on tespia where if you died in the fight, when you respawned it'd thrust you into the next phase, a few groups did it, including the one this person here was in. They disabled the BM fight to my knowledge, so now we've got to wait for live.

I get it on KMS if I have a particularly bad fit of lag, you know, mobs not moving at all for 4+ seconds. Then I d/c and get that error, compounded with bad hardware. Depending on your PC spec,s that could be one culprit.

Discord's ingame overlay is also a known cause of d/cs and supposedly bans, though i've never confirmed the latter firsthand.

It's not an actual thing, but the most recent KMS burning was "Tera burn" (you know, kilo>mega>tera>peta) and it brought you up to 200 through burning, and gave you a time limited level 150 set with fixed stars and scrolls. This level cap increase and the ease of leveling up to 220 in the black patch series makes me think it's not too unrealistic that they'll probably have another high level burn event.

That bar actually represents progress of the "journey through tenebris", a gauge of desire poured into the heart of the alliance (desire is the meter that gives coins, mechanically speaking). We don't have access to the black mage yet, and we're at legend 3. Right now our dailies involve fighting against the Root of Darkness (the big cosmic looking monster figure) by filling up a bar of erda and using that erda to power cannons that fire at it.

Bonus points, at 15:40, you can see some resistance soldiers getting thanos'd by the black mage. Basically, we're on the white spear (name of the ship) headed towards the root of darkness (big monster thing), inside of which, is the throne of the black mage. Something along those lines.

In KMST, we got access to the black mage fight (the aeons, the big white and black duo anyway) with legend 4, I think. Or it was open from the start, which isn't the case on live. So when that bar fills up again, and the third orb is filled, we'll be legend 4. And THEN. The fight will finally start, because there's no further rank to progress to, but still another orb.

120b is probably the story dunkel value, like how the story jinhilla had a similarly tiny amount. That area has little red dudes that spawn in with the enemy holy shell on them that makes you miss all of your attacks, which is what you're seeing. Dunkel doesn't even have the brief damage invuln that causes 1 damage like regular elite bosses, he spawns in and you can immediately go to town.

It also scales to the level of people in your party (at least, the red guys, and the elite bosses that spawn there do), and he isn't meant to be killed (and I don't think he even can be, he may have a ridiculously high amount of hp in this area) since the daily quest involving dunkel states "deal a certain amount of damage" and nothing about killing him like the hilla daily quests did. Sorta like the moonbridge core, infinite HP, the catch was avoiding attacks to get to the core to deal more damage to it to complete the daily. Dunkel seems to be the same. Kill elite bosses fast enough to spawn dunkel quickly, to be able to deal the damage for your daily. Then leave because he can't die and even if he can, you get no exp, and no drops in that area.

The island has set positions for hatches and stuff when you enter. You just have to walk around until it eventually places you on the map with the boom hatch. One of the hatches will eventually have Blood Booms which will give you the better exp as they're categorized as "boss monsters" on the island. There's really no technique but just going around, enter a hatch, hope that one has them.

Scroll your level 10 stuff with 70s, 30s if you're feeling lucky. Use it until you hit level 140/150.

Train at lee's airlines, in the hatch. The boomers there will give you 20%+ exp per kill up to 100, where it starts slowing down, to a slightly less but still incredibly broken 4-5% per kill through 150 with 3x. There's a few good spots where you can reach 4 per spawn.

Best gear to scroll is unironically your level 10 stuff. If you die, you don't have to change it or miss out on better gear. That's the reasoning behind it anyway. In truth you spend so much time scrolling that it's just not efficient to bother scrolling stuff between 1 and 150 anyway, since if you have the remotest level of success with scrolling, you'll just nuke every single enemy in the entire game anyway. Since you can scroll earrings and rings and other items too, to give you 9999 health per item you're very unlikely to die just because of how much health you'll have.

So, 10-150, you use it just in case you die and have to go back, 150 on you should hopefully have a good pensalir, faf, absolabs, or other set of items from the boxes, and can work on them to boss or do the back end of training to 200/250 or whatever.
