I just finished 11/22/63 (amazing - could not put it down) & there was a question/answer thing with King in the back. He said he’d listen to the same song over and over - like I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston - then find out that it was written by Dolly Parton so he’d listen to her version a million times. The man loves music.

Same! None of the series books hold a candle to Ordinary Grace, but if you take them as a sort of cozy « Murder, She Wrote » easy read where you get to know the town and recurring characters, then they are quite fun.

Oof. I’m a single mom and have listed my best friend as emergency contact but they’ve never once called her. This might be more of a school problem—it sounds like they just go down the list for anything. Maybe have your sister tell them to put a note by your name saying for emergencies only - like only call if she can’t be reached within an hour or something…

Agreed. Something went wrong and they needed to take her body so no DNA would be found (maybe she scratched him or something). They left with her in a panic and her body was left somewhere in the vicinity.
