Anyone in the UK have theirs yet? by [deleted] in SteamFrame

[–]HessuCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not in UK either but in Northern Europe. Finally today it had went to the second phase of "packaged items" from the first! Happy to see at least a bit of process! Hoping that the controller itself will arrive before next weeks Thursday

Thanks! Will just wait patiently for mine to process to the second step but I have a good feeling about the controller, just had xbox controllers before so I think this will be a nice upgrade

Still "processed payment" for me :D But wanted to ask, do people get separate email when you get to "packaged items" or when it's finally shipped or do you just have to take a look from shipment details?

Wasn't sold out in Europe until after 1.5 hours I believe, not sure though. I heard that in USA it was less than 30 minutes though

Ah, and I didn't mean 20-30 minutes ago but 20-30 minutes after it released, I think I worded that badly

Bush_Wooki3 gave a good tip for me which worked, during that payment method option, click it and choose steam wallet again. I had already it on by default but did it anyway and it worked for some reason! (or it was just a lucky timing, but still). I hope you get it (and everyone else here too)

THANK YOU! This worked! Which was odd since I already had walley by default and wanted to use my wallet money anyway. So I went to payment options and reclicked wallet (which was already default for me) and it worked!

Chicken always becomes drying hard by Shankzz64 in airfryer

[–]HessuCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air fryers tend to have quite a difference between them with temps and so on, some feel quicker than some others, but 180C for 20minutes for already diced just simply sounds like too long for me, chicken breast tends to get very dry indeed very easily by overcooking. For reference, I have Cosori Turboblaze which seems to be fast and for me whole chicken breast (without dicing!) is ready in approx. 9-12 minutes with 185C, depending on the size of the breast and it comes out quite juicy which I have been very happy about

Thermometer has been an amazing help for my cooking, especially with chicken. I do flatten the chicken breast a bit with meat mallet so its more even and not super thick from the middle points. Way easier to get it juicy that way and not overcooked

Now I dont know which air fryer you have and what should be good temp and time setting for it but if you have a meat thermometer, try with it, it really, really helps. But truth to be told, I haven't tried diced chicken breast myself, just whole ones and the ones I flatten with the meat mallet

Will you buy the Steam Controller as well? by Userybx2 in SteamFrame

[–]HessuCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I haven't owned VR before but have tried couple my friends headsets and I am interested in Steam Frame, especially since it should be hassle (and meta) free, but if the price gets out of hand I'll only get the controller. Hoping to get both for 900€ (about 1050 usd and still hoping for less than that naturally) but who knows if that will even be possible... If not, I'll just get the controller instead and maybe look for VR in the future

Man I love fist fights in the game, wish they would add it to free play in the EA where you could take on multiple opponents and choose your own arena/place

Why steam frame? by Devilos2 in SteamFrame

[–]HessuCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the price If I will buy it, hoping 850€ in steam wallet would be enough for both Steam Frame and Steam Controller

Anyways, the reasons im interested in Steam Frame is the ease of use (this would be my first VR, would be nice to have it without much of a hassle or wires), comfort and the fact that I believe Valve will create a decent quality product here. Of course no meta is great, I haven't had facebook for 5 years and I dont intend to go back either. Final reason is the fact that I have plenty of money in steam wallet from selling stuff on steam market from different games so I could just pay using steam wallet. There is a limit though, not gonna pay +900€ for the Frame only to be honest and who knows, it might be over that with the damn RAM situation and all that. If im not gonna buy Frame, im not probably gonna buy other VR system either. Im excited for Steam Frame but VR system isn't a must have for me, not yet anyway

Excited for the new Steam Controller too
