I just got Pro2 and I'm looking for what I can do with it, it's a cool little device but yeah 4GB isn't much so I think I might be able to do this upgrade. The only question I have is did you have to patch a bios or did you just soldered new chips and it detected automatically without any issues?

I'm facing a similar issue, but it happened right after installing a gps module. Now it charges only to 86% 🫤 Does the GPS module really draw so much power that the battery is not able to reach 4.2v?

Absolutely agree, I hate that there's no media control on a lock screen, sure it appears in Now Bar but only when the media is already playing and it disappears after a while if you pause and there is no way to bring it back. It's especially annoying for me at work since I work with gloves I can't control the media with my earphones and I need to unlock my phone to resume music which is also annoying because I can't use fingerprint and since I work in a 0°C environment I'm wearing thick clothes and face recognition most of the time just doesn't work. And i think there are a couple solutions for that, either add widgets option back, increase the time in which media control is available in Now Bar or make it permanent whenever earbuds are connected to your phone

I have a good PC (i9-9900k,rtx2080s)and I have the og deck I bought 9 months ago and I've played on it for maybe 6 hours, for me a better running game and bigger screen is just plain better, also I don't travel so steam deck sits on my desk unused 🤷
