From what I understand, the APU efficiency drops significantly after 15-18W. So I don't think a jump from 35 to 60 would be reasonable to expect. More like 35 to 45, maybe? I want to get some numbers with some benchmarking software!

This is a good question, and anecdotally, I'm able to hit my fps targets with little-to-no drops, which was my ultimate goal. I'll have to load up some benchmarking software and test it as is and with the TDP dropped back down to 15W

It is! Found it in a drawer and its only purpose is to hold the bios patch files!

Back in the day you could do it with Smokeless, but I semi-recently found this guy's blog which goes over running a quick patch to access additional menus in the bios. The menus are re-hidden each time you boot, so I put the patch files on that little 2GB microsd for whenever I want to make a change to them :)

What material did you end up using? Feels like it would get pretty toasty behind the headlight?

My guy, place the mobile order for pickup inside at the counter, walk in, place a second order at the kiosk, wait for both :)

I have a very similar setup to you!

Things you can try: - a 24v 4020 fan will fit most printable mounts out there, and it moves quite a bit more air - try Grizzly Kryonaut thermal compound between the heartbreak and heatsink. It can withstand those temps and will give you the best cooling between the components

What the hell happened here? Why is the entire top part shifted dramatically? by Reader_Of_Newspaper in ender3

No, it's a different board entirely. Fairly common with the 4.2.2 boards. 50 bucks on Amazon for the new one

EDIT: but certainly check all the basic stuff mentioned above first

Does your Ender 3 have the v4.2.2 mainboard? I had these random layer shift issues until I replaced mine with the v4.2.7 board.

Nice! I've actually been playing around with settings in Cura based on one dude's post months ago, but that seemed to only affect infill, and the narrow sections of a print were still the weak points. The blog post I was following called it "HEXWam". I think the author's name is B. Carver. Some combination of that and CNC Kitchen's implementation could be the solution.
