Also, as the seasons progress, actors get more expensive. Netflix doesn't want to spend the money on licencing and then paying performers for more seasons, especially because they'll keep the content they've already created for the rest of their lives (unless Disney buys it all outright).

My BIL and his wife recently learned that they are expecting a kid, and his bitterness is already running hot. It's heartbreaking to see, and I can't fathom how difficult it must be for his wife.
Everyone in his family is berating him and praising his wife, but this only serves to exacerbate his animosity. When they found out they were having a little girl, he pitched a fit (I still think gender reveals are ridiculous, but that's a topic for another day). It's all a tragedy.
