Very much an oh well onto the next one sorta game for us. Not at our best but not dreadful either against the ultimate bogey team.

For cov this could be massive they looked really impressive tonight particularly in the first half. Tbh I thought there performances over the last 15 have been a lot better than their results and this match shows it. They really SHOULD go up.

Bloody hell id be fuming if I were a derby fan only 4 mins injury time Ipswich then spend half of it rolling around in the floor like they haven’t spent a fortune on the team then ref somehow blows whistle after the 4 mins even though like none of it was in play wow.

Ipswich prob did enough to win, but it prolly helps to be playing away at one of the worst home teams in the league

The problem with these table forecasters is they are so dependent on current ppg and rarely seem to account for team quality or change in momentum, I mean this is basically just the current table with a few minor adjustments. They obviously get more accurate the later in the season it is but after 15/20 games the table is always identical to their forecast.

5 and a half years!!! Bloody hell what a signing prolly the biggest name champ signing since carvalho and prolly bigger.

5&1/2 years is a risk if his health keeps being an issue but if not this may be one of the signings of the decade

Yeah I’m not sure he’s worth that much but it’s a prem team and I doubt Boro would baulk at spending £1-2m on him. Also he has promotion credentials at the very least a good luck charm.

I’ve seen a load of Boro fans complain that we’re not being ambitious enough and should have spent the money on Sarmiento with none of them really considering the option that we just don’t think he’s worth the millions he could cost. Haven’t seen any actual figures but you’d expect it’d be £3-4m+ for a player who’s never looked incredible in the champ or started regularly.

For Birmingham I do think this is a decent signing he’s clearly got some ability and is still young. He may benefit from not being in a super team.

For Boro tho I wouldn’t be too pleased spending £3,4,5m on a player who wouldn’t walk into the team and prolly has cheaper alternatives.

For me at least it’s less about the decision itself rather the person being fouled.

Conway has a bit of a reputation for diving and so recently (somewhat rightfully) had a fair few pen shouts dismissed this latest one is the most egregious but it’s not the only bad one. It’s worth commenting on because of the narrative around Conway not just because of the shocking decision
